Wow, to be extremely critical almonds have plant toxins in them and sugar is sugar, but its true, these are truly one of the best and cleanest real , nutritional food bars out there. There are two others I like and without the almond butter. If you search for bars with ingredients of raw grass fed whey, beef collagen peptides, tallow and honey you can find the others. It has the most digestible, assimilable beef protein, beef tallow, not seed oil and all real food ingredients. I like the texture and it will melt away in your mouth. I find all flavors good. These are exceptional.

Clean, high quality ingredients that taste good. I can taste the difference between these bars and the ones with a bunch of artificial ingredients and even the clean bars that don't cost as much. They're expensive, but worth the cost because of their quality.

these are a great protein bar best i have had in some time for sure. they are not dry like most protein bars also great taste. i will be buying more of these for my hiking.

great choice for a quality protein snack or mini meal. Just know before you order that these are not like many of the 'candy bar' protein bars out there with tons of artificial flavors, added sugar and processed ingredients. These are the real deal -- they are a bit tougher to chew/more dense and not as sweet. The texture is not grainy, it is more smooth and slightly oily. Try chilling these in the fridge slightly before eating to help with the oil texture and prevent it from being too soft or melty. You could also chill them longer and they would be perfect by lunch time or for a late workout. The vanilla chip and mixed berry are my favorites. The chocolate chunks are bitter in the chocolate chip flavor, but still good. They are big enough to feel full and satisfied after one bar, and they give you 20g protein. These are more expensive than many other protein bars out there, but they are high quality, so it is worth it to pay a little more. I personally keep these around for when I need protein on the go instead of eating them daily, just because the price is so high. Would love to see an option to buy more in bulk for additional savings.

I wanted to love the taste of these bars! I saw the ingredient list and the sheer fact that there was no stevia or monk fruit swayed me to buy them on Prime Day, as the pricing is steep. The amount of protein in each bar is phenomenal, and while I like to get my protein in my main meals, I sometimes fall short. I tried the chocolate and vanilla bars since receiving the variety pack yesterday, and each had a faint hint of um, beef fat. I should have known the tallow might come through, and unfortunately it did. The texture of the bar is similar to a smoother RxBar, but the flavor is just not there. Since the taste isn't great and the price is astronomical, I will not be repurchasing.

Taste good and excellent clean ingredients!!

I've tried basically every protein bar sold at gas stations and Whole Foods over the years and this Jacob bar is the best I've found yet. I'm a very health conscious person and care a lot about clean ingredients and how it makes me feel. These bars seem to have the cleanest ingredients for the amount of protein and make me feel great. The taste is pretty good as far as protein bars go too. The only downside is that they are a bit expensive, but I'm willing to pay up for high quality ingredients. I simply won't eat quest bars anymore because they taste like chemicals and have several nasty ingredients and I won't eat RxBars either because they hurt my stomach. The Jacob bar is my new go to.

I've been looking for a clean protein bar and have had a difficult time finding one until I came across Jacob protein bars. I look for bars that don't have any substitute sugars (stevia, sucralose, monk fruit, etc). This one has 20g of protein as well. The taste is alright; I've definitely had better tasting ones but considering the ingredients and protein content, I'd take these any day. These would be a 5/5 star if priced at $3. Pros - high protein content - solid ingredients - no substitutes Cons - not the best tasting, but not terrible (the berry one is my choice of the 3) - price; they're about $5 a piece; if they were around $3-$3.50, I'd be buying this on the regular.
