I am going wild for wild turkey 101!
Spicy delicious! This bourbon is a classic for a reason it helps introduce bourbon drinkers to the spice of rye in a sweet but also savoury fashion! It kicks well above it's price being amazing quality and a value for money!Recommended surviving:Add a dram or 5cl to a whiskey glassAdd 2-3 tea spoons of water (more for larger drama)Allow it to rest in the glass for 5-7 minutes as you nose it through out that journey of the water helping take some harshness away from the ethanol.Sip and appreciate a true Kentucky classic!

The king of bourbons.
Love bourbon, and Wild Turkey is definitely the best of them. It is smooth and warm to the taste and hits the spot every time.

Great tasting bourbon
A bit smokey for a bourbon, quite sweet, but also very strong. Always a quality drink for special occasions or when just one has to be enough. I find it best just with ice, and a bit of time to breath. When it's on offer it's a bargain.

Bang for your bourbon buck
Really good for the money if it's anywhere near £25. Smooth, balanced and very drinkable. Can't think of any better bourbon for the same price point.

My Daily Drink
Okay, not every day! But it definitely is my 'go-to'. It has strength (50.5%)!, bite and full-flavour that is very satisfying. If I only could get a free bottle for leaving this review...

In the Dynamite Jet Saloon we used to drink Wild Turkey all day
The first time I pulled the cork from a bottle of Wild Turkey, I heard the echoes of Tyla's raspy voice singing, "In the Dynamite Jet Saloon we used to drink Wild Turkey all day," and immediately knew I was in for something special. With each sip, there's a kick that makes you want to raise your glass and toast to the wild days of old. It's a drink that demands to be savoured, the kind that could turn any night into a legendary story. Here's a recipe for an 'Old Fashioned':1 shot of Wild Turkey 1012 dashes of Angostura bitters1 Billington's Demerara Rough Cut Sugar Cube2 ice cubes1/2 fresh lemon, juicedThe lyric in the headline is from The Dogs D'Amour's 1988 album In the Dynamite Jet Saloon, which captures the band's gritty, romantic, and debauched rock 'n' roll lifestyle. Lead singer Tyla’s storytelling, rich with themes of love, heartbreak, drinking, and living life on the edge, pairs perfectly with the bold and robust flavours of a bottle of Wild Turkey 101.
