Ethereal Visions: An Illuminated Tarot Deck

At first I wasn’t that impressed with the images as they’re so pale, and I have to really look hard at the card to see what card it is. But that’s probably because I don’t know the cards well yet. The more I’ve looked at the images on the cards, I’ve realised they are beautiful and makes me feel so peaceful/tranquil. I wished they’d gone the extra mile with these and gilded the edges - the cards deserve it. The card stock is good and they are quite large cards. Slightly bigger than my other tarot decks, but not too much larger to be a problem.

Gorgeous cards

I've been wanting to get myself a tarot deck for a long time now, but I wanted one that was visually appealing to me and this one was simply too gorgeous to pass up! The cards are even more lovely in person, and are a decent size. The box they come in is sturdy and super handy for keeping them neat and protected. These cards do come with a little guide to interpreting them, however there's only really brief explanations for each card, and very little for the minor arcana suits (cups, wands, etc.) compared to the major arcana cards. So I'd recommend either investing in a separate guide, trusting your own intuition or reading up online rather than relying on the guide with this set. Overall, I am in love with these. Well worth the price, and definitely recommend to first time tarot buyers or old hands!

These cards are absolutely BEAUTIFUL. The detail on each one is just gorgeous. They seem to glow as you examine the intricate detail of them. They are different from the “original” deck so look different initially, but on closer inspection they have all the information from the rider-waite deck but pictured beautifully. I was honestly a little but moved as I looked at each one because they seem to give off a really positive, hopeful vibe. Or maybe I’m just being all soppy in my old age! Definitely consider these cards, they are now my favourite ones I own. Stunning. ✨

If you enjoy story telling tarot decks with detailed illustrations and lots of colour - this is the deck for you. Photos do not do it justice. The colours are vivid, yet subtle. The gold foil is also a lovely addition to colour (the edges are not foiled FYI). I really enjoy the illustrations and overall style, and the card quality I think is pretty solid. If the deck is taken care of (as all decks should be) they should last a while I feel. I connected straight away and as always I’m I’m drawn to the cups suit as a cancerian. But all of the cards are lovely. My last point is that a book is included. But it only gives short details of what each cards means. I would recommend buying a book that specialises in understanding and interpreting tarot cards for beginners.

I have been using them since I bought them and I am oboists the quality and the art style. It’s so Art Nouveau and the gold is shiny and beautiful the box is also great quality. Worth the money!!!

This deck is absolutely gorgeous and it's so great to see it in mass production so more of us can access it! The cardstock is good quality, the gold foiling makes for a real luxurious feeling. The artwork, so gorgeous (check out the artist's other work!). I've been looking for an Art Nouveau deck that isn't pips for the minors (shout out Lo Scarabeo lol). And no the Tarot Mucha just didn't do that for me! I would probably even gift this deck to someone who wasn't as madly into tarot as I am but enjoys the artwork. Nice sturdy box too. What would have really finished this item off beautifully is gold edging on the cards and a gorgeous guidebook rather than a LWB but they are so beautiful even without. Bravo.

This is a fancy deck for when you need to do a special posh reading but very honestly, in my opinion, these cards don’t represent the beauty and ambiguity of the classic tarot cards. I mean they’re nice but still something is missing. Something is off compared to other decks that have the representation of the classic tarot deck. I use them and they’re pretty but not one of my favourites.

Very pretty deck. A wonderful visual combination of gold foil across the imagery, the soft tonal pastel colours and the art noveau style design. It keeps very close to the Rider Waite Smith so good for beginners. Has a decent little guidebook. Card stock sturdy.

Je voulais ce jeu depuis un moment car passionnée d'art nouveau. Le tarot arrive dans une boîte rigide en carton et les cartes sont très épaisses, solides les plus épaisses que je n'ai jamais eues par rapport à d'autres jeu. Les incrustation de dorrure sur les illustrations des cartes donnent du cachet à ce tarot. Je ne suis pas fan de toutes les cartes, mais certaines sont très très belles. L'illustration choisie pour le devant de la boîte n'est pas mas préférée non plus, mais très contente de ce jeu, je le voulais dans ma collection depuis longtemps et pas déçue de l'avoir commandée. Les réponses obtenues à mes tirages étaient justes. Pertinants, le petit livret qui donne sommairement à chacune des cartes son explication est rapide d'accès, mots clés. Ça me va. Sinon qualité au top pour ce tarot.
