Perfect for our move
We packed everything we had into large totes and moved in our SUV. I gave away my old tank of a dolly and slipped this on top of the stack inside and we drove away. It did just fine hauling the heavy totes and more without showing any distress. One small thing to note is that your hand will be wedged between the handle and whatever you are moving if it is tall enough. There is no offset. But that's to allow it to fold very flat.I like how easy it is to fold up the bottom plate and wheels. Just lean it forward and it starts to collapse easily. Doesn't even require a hand to complete. The button to release the handle so it slides down to half-height is a little finicky but works fine. There is also an odd extra piece that appears designed to be a sort of shock aborber to keep it from snapping down quickly on your hand. But I think it is largely superfluous. Maybe some customers complained. All in all this is great. It is very study and useful for its small size and light weight. Easy to carry sideways like a briefcase once folded. And easy to pack and go with the stuff you need to haul with it.

Lives Up It's Name..."Ideal"
I saw this cart in use when I went to visit a retired friend of mine...a strapping male who said "I don't do stairs or box-lifting any more!" I thought it was a pretty small hand truck for a man better than 6 ft tall but he demonstrated it by moving a couple of boxes of old newspapers bound for the recycling center. He maneuvered it through the grass in his yard to his waiting vehicle. It was sturdy, well balanced and rolled smoothly over the less than ideal path.I am a woman who is not even 5 ft tall and have the usual mobility issues of a person my age (which I won't tell!) Anyway, I thought that this would be perfect for me...ideal, in fact! It is small, lightweight, collapsible and easily returned to it's working position and made well. I came home and made an internet search and ordered one immediately. My helpful friend sent me the results of his own internet search later in the evening but by that time, my order had already been processed and was presumably on it's way. I have been using this since it arrived because I am in the middle of downsizing my home and moving to another. I can see this as a valuable tool for bringing in several bags of groceries and moving things around in my house. It can be easily kept in the car. It's durable and I can't think of anything other than old age and constant abuse which would make it break down. I read another review which was not very positive and thought I had better look around some more but then thought better of it because my friend had years of experience and use with his and his hand truck was still working perfectly and looking good. Due to our humid summertime climate, a musty and sometimes damp garage is where his Magna Cart is housed...no problems with rust or squeaky wheels. He used to use it for moving camping gear...another less than perfect environment. The negative review might have been as a result of a glitch in the manufacturing process possible...but how many times out of a thousand does that happen? If you are looking for a small, lightweight and easily portable hand truck for a myriad of uses in and around the home or even out and about, give it a shot. The price is reasonable. If you don't like it, it's so lightweight that it won't be a big deal to return. If you've done your homework, I'm guessing the Magna Cart will fit the bill.

Almost five stars with a few flaws
Let me begin by saying this cart is not perfect. While not perfect, it is about as good as I could reasonably expect for the price I paid for it.I work as a CPR instructor. If you've ever taken a CPR class, you know that there are a lot of mannequins and other accouterments involved. I got tired of lugging all my stuff like a pack mule from parking garages to office towers and needed a change. I looked into a variety of different types of carts and ultimately settled on this one. I chose this one based on a few factors: the price, the reviews, and the way it folded up to be easily stored. This cart plus bungee cords has completely transformed my working experience. The cart itself is shockingly well built for the money. It is very sturdy and I have had no issues at all. It has lived in the trunk of my car through blistering heat and freezing cold and no part of it has shown any signs of weakening. The moving parts all work as smoothly as when I first got it. The large wheels offer a lot of stability and do not fall prey to bumps and ruts as much as I had anticipated. Perhaps most importantly, it folds up wonderfully and fits quite well flat in the back of my hatchback and takes up almost no room. The handle is quite comfortable, as well. The cart itself rides very smoothly over most surfaces and the wheels have never given me any sort of trouble. I enjoy the easy way it opens (push the plate down and the wheels follow) and closes (push plate up and wheels follow) for its obvious simplicity, which I assume is what the designers were going for. The one button involved, the one that releases the handle, works reasonably well but can sometimes be slightly sticky. The plate itself is made of metal and is a "skeleton style" plate rather than a solid one--which lends itself beautifully to attaching bungee cords in any variety of ways. That said, it is not perfect: I would like it if the plate was longer. I find it to be a tad too short and find myself consistently wishing it had a few more inches on it. The cart is inherently unbalanced when unloaded and insists on falling over backwards if not immediately loaded or held in place once "deployed" to its open position. While I like that the wheels never have to be inflated and do not degrade in the sun or cold, It would be nice if they were softer or bigger to make going over uneven surfaces (such as cobblestone) was less prone to having the feeling of extreme off-roading depending on the load I'm carrying. For the loads I'm using it for (under a hundred pounds plus the force of bungee cords pulling and holding things) the cart is quite sturdy. I wouldn't feel particularly safe using it for too much more than that--it's rated for 150 pounds, but that doesn't include the added strain of using bungee cords. Without the bungee cords, I would probably be quite unimpressed with the product due to its shallow plate lending itself very poorly to carrying without holding the cart at an extreme tilt.Would I recommend this product to a friend or family member? Depending on the intended use: absolutely. I would also recommend they spend ten bucks and pick up a variety pack or two of those newfangled flat bungee cords to make sure stuff stays in place and on the plate. It has worked marvelously for my purposes and I would absolutely buy another one if mine exploded or fell off a cliff or something.

Really smooth and easy to maneuver
I use this all the time and it's perfect. For the past year I had a similar sized model from a local hardware store that eventually broke. Although the same price the difference is night and day. The folding mechanism is smooth and the baseplate is wide enough to support crates or bigger boxes. The wheels are nice and quiet and roll well compared to the previous. It also folds up smaller and is surprisingly robust for it's size. The only issue I can see is how well it holds up, but so far so good!

Handle is too short
The maximum handle length is 100cm, which I found to be too short for carrying heavy items because you need to bend the hand truck to equalize the weight distribution.

Muy Portátil
Es muy fácil de almacenar. De capacidad de carga no es como un diablito de la Merced, pero cajas no muy pesadas si las transporta sin problemas.
