I love that you can use your Phone and Tablet at the same time. Very useful for making videos. I love the flexibility of the Akron and that is has a stand instead of a table clip. The Akron only takes little space. The light is an extra bonus.

Bit of a hype around this phone holder and overall it's well warranted. The build is great and positions highly customisable. You do pay a high premium for this item however. Overall I'm pleased with it.

This is a useful bit of kit for recording with your phone. I will say that I like the height you can achieve with the extending central column, although you do see the base when recording footage from above so you need to zoom in, which defeats the object of getting height OR crop in post edit OR cover with something like fabric or a prop in the shot, like I did. When extended out, the arm did slip down with the weight of my phone so you need to tighten higher than required to allow for this. I found it a bit annoying to keep tightening/loosening 3 different sections to get the angle just right so when I needed several different angles, this became a bit frustrating but if you are shooting at a constant angle and don't need to keep changing it, you will be ok. It's definitely a good bit of kit for phone videoing, especially the monitor/ipad shelf so you can see what you are doing but I would say there are some limitations in terms of weight it can hold without slipping and how long the plastic connections would withstand constant tightening/loosening if you need to change it frequently.....

Love this. I use it with Reflector 3 software for filming from my iPhone and viewing the image on my iPad. Fits my iPad Pro perfect.

Took a while to get used to but now use it for all my filming. Brilliant and would definitely recommend

Just a great product all around. Love how sturdy and versatile it is.

Pretty good for videoing my art process. Takes a while to get used to how to set it up to capture the best of your artwork. I am traveling with my partner around Australia in our campervan and it’s very handy. Doesn’t take up a lot of space and it’s very sturdy.

Love it! Bought for cooking video and works great. Very sturdy and can hold the weight of my iPhone 8+ which is heavy. I love that the joints are movable and can get different angles. I can record on my iPad or someday do live video with feedback... well worth the money. Easy instruction to assemble!
