Accurate & reliable display/sensor with great Google Home integration - easy to setup!
Very pleased with this product, which was easy to setup on the SwitchBot App & with Google Home integration. The unit is well made, and very neat & compact - the display is bright and easy to read and can be angled using the built-in stand on the rear. Temperature & humidity readings have very good accuracy and appear to be much better than my old weather stations. What I have found very useful is the integration with Google, which can read out the temperature/humidity of the room/outside when asked via voice. The Meter Pro unit communicates via BLE rather than Wifi to the outdoor temperature sensor (~10-12m), but this can be extended by using a Hub Mini/Hub2/Hub3 if needed (separate purchase) to act as a repeater to other SwitchBot devices/your phone - this then also enables general Internet connectivity & Matter compatibility if required, and allows storage of sensor data in the Cloud (which is free). This combination appears to be ideal especially with multiple SwitchBot devices in your home (I am using 4 Meter Pros in and around the house). Overall, this provides a great eco system for temperature/humidity monitoring in the house & garden and the stability/accuracy have proved to be of great value in comparison to other similar devices I have looked at.

Useful bit of kit
The SwitchBot Weather Station with Outdoor Sensor consists of 3 items. The latest hub mini, the large screen Meter Pro and an external sensor. I've been using SwitchBot products for several years and this kit is a useful addition. It’s all pretty straightforward to set up. Latest Hub Mini The latest hub is similar to the previous version with the addition of being matter enabled. Note that this version doesn’t have a screen. I believe you need an Apple Home Hub to make the most of this extra matter functionality which I don’t own. Meter Pro This has a large screen version of the previous model with the additional capabilities of showing the current time and date and the temperature and humidity of itself and also an additional device e.g. an external sensor. This is certainly an improvement over the older model. I would have preferred it if the current time and date were larger though. Outdoor Sensor I have 2 of them, one of which I have been using outside to monitor the outside temperature and humidity. It corresponds accurately to the weather forecast except when the meter has the Sun on it which is to be expected. The other one I'm using to monitor the temperature of an underfloor heating pipe which works as expected. I like the fact that it uses 2 x AAA batteries rather than the less common button batteries. It was easy to setup and the graphs present the readings in a useful way. Alexa can report the temperature but not the humidity of my outdoor meters (she just returns the humidity of one of my indoor meters) - I believe this is a bug they are working on. Both are displayed and recorded in the app which is fine for my purposes. I’m happy to recommend the kit.

Neat, functional, reliable
Works exactly as required once set up: The display is clear, the outdoor sensor seems robust and reliable, the mini hub just gets on with it. The app is a bonus, with some great historical data on temperature etc. Would get 5 stars but the setup is a bit confusing - I didn't really know what the mini hub was bringing, how this was different from a hub, and why it needed ir line of sight to stuff (it doesn't, I assume that's for a different function).

Excellent clear temperature display
Excellent upgrade to the meter plus that I was moving to a new location. Nice clear main temperature display, and although I only got the display, it was very easy for it to assign one of my outdoor sensors to display on the bottom line. In fact it seem to provide the option to replace the main temperature display with another sensor too. (I do have two hubs for coverage which is how they are all connected together) One downside over the meter plus was they'd dropped the magnetic mounting option, so I can't easily stick this on the kitchen fridge, something to bear in mind if upgrading from the meter plus. It does have a small weather forecast symbol in the top left corner, but it's so small, it's only useful if the display is next to you. Finally the time and date are displayed in the small text in the top middle and left, though the date is stuck in American format (mm/dd) with no apparent way to make it into a normal format (dd/mm). It appears to have a speaker on board for alarms, something I have only briefly tested. Finally for the Homeassistant users out there, the on board sensors are available for use within Homeassistant, but no display configurability at the time of writing is possible.

Reliable and useful temperature and humidity sensor display
Switchbot Meter pro. I find this a very useful product for two main reasons. 1) The size and clarity of the display make it very readable to older eyes. 2) The ability to have multiple temperature readings is something I need. Ideally having more than two sets of temperature readings would be even better. I'm a fan of the SwitchBot meter products of different generations and capabilities. They are reasonably priced and frequently discounted or on special offer for a bundle. My SwitchBot products work really well in my smart home and are generally more reliable than my other similar products from other manufacturers and seem to have a very good battery life which makes them an easy recommendation.

Very easy to set up
Really good little weather station. Very easy to set up. The app is a bit bare bones but its free and does actually log the data so no complaints really Only minor criticism is lack of a back light

Smart bit of kit
Very smart bit of kit at a competitive price. Works out of the box once you've added to your Switchbot App. Gives daily max / min temperatures plus different humidity values. Easy to read display. A similar sensor still has the original battery after more than a year. Also readings can be downloaded to Excel.

Smart temperature guage, not a weather station.
Its not a weather station. It does give accurate temperature and humidity readings. It was easy to set up but I do keep loosing the connection with the sensor at the far end of the bungalow, (most wifi or bluetooth devices struggle because of poor signal due to the high iron content in the bricks). The sensor has a rubber seal on the battery compartment to prevent moisture getting in. It seams reasonable quality for the price. I have given it three stars because as a weather station it is useless only measuring temperature and humidity and can't give a forecast. As a smart thermometer I would give it 5 stars.
