Stretch dressing for difficult wound coverage
This is ideal for holding dressings in place for hard to cover areas like elbows, wrists, etc. It reduces the risk of tape burns to sensitive skin areas especially in older adults. I used this in the hospital in the ER, and was delighted to find it on Amazon for home use.

Must have item for fragile skin
As a care giver, stretch netting is the only product I've found which can be used to keep dressings in place for someone with extremely fragile skin. Anything with adhesives causes skin tears making a bad situation worse. We also use this netting as a protective sock of sorts to minimize the risk of skin tears during transfers. It can be cut to any length - a strip long enough to cover shins to thighs can easily and quickly be slipped on and off. This product is washable and reusable but eventually will lose its shape and have to be replaced. Still, this is an inexpensive and simple solution for wound care

Itchy on sensitive skin.
It works well and doesn’t stretch out fast. One side is softer than the other the other. I have very sensitive skin (have to cut all tags out of my clothes) and after wearing for a couple of days it made my skin itch. The package says “no latex”, so it must just be the texture that is uncomfortable. If you have “normal” skin, it will probably work well for you. P

Sturdier than what the hospital provided
This works perfectly for coving my husbands PICC line dangles. Much sturdier than the version provided by the hospital.

5 feet NOT 5 yards
Absolutely not 5 yards. I cut 4 of these sleeves for my husband’s forearm, about a 16” length per each sleeve. It came to a little over 5 feet. I stretched it just like the doctor did when he dressed my husband’s wound. I gave this product 3 stars because it did work well, it just wasn’t the amount that was advertised. Now I need to buy more, but I will find a brand that actually has 5 yards not feet.
