Best root tabs for aquatic plants
I started using API root tabs a few months ago since they are safe for shrimp. I did notice from day one how my plants started to grow so quickly and bushy. It made my plants healthier. The roots grow pretty quickly and big from cuttings. I feel this is an amazing value for your money.

Good for leaves
I cannot recommend these enough I put an entire pack in my 20 gallon next to all my dwarf hairgrass and within 2 days they all sent out runners that are already poking through the gravel, supports healthy, non yellowing plant growth, they do make the water a bit cloudy so put them in fast!

Good plant support
Works great. Make sure to push into the gravel or substrate quickly to avoid the pills from disintegrating in the aquarium. My plants have shown good results from the root tabs. I would recommend.

Seems to work, don’t like crumbling
Seems to do it’s job! I don’t like that the tab immediately starts dissolving the second it touches the water, so you have to be quick putting it under the sand.

Plants thrive, the fish like to explore the tabs as the dissolving occurs.

Crumbly
These things dissolve as soon as they hit the water. You have to mad dash to shove them into the soil, but you still end up with a cloud of fertilizer in the water, and white particle dust all over the place. You end up feeding algae as well as your root plants. It's a bummer to have to do a water change every time you put these in the aquarium.

Have been using these tabs for a couple months in my betta tank. Just ordered some more.

Love this for my planted tank! It’s really helped improve plant growth, especially for root feeders. After using it, my plants look healthier and more vibrant. Easy to use and a great addition to any planted setup. Definitely recommend!

Not sure how it will work on my plants but it did make my aquarium water cloudy and brown. I have changed half tank water the next day after using this tabs. Hopefully cloudiness and discoloration will go away and won’t effect my fishes. Won’t buy it again

Seem to work great. I also like that there is no fertilizer liquid mixing with the water the fishes live in.
