Collet is smaller than the size indicated on the collet.
The 1/2" collet is not .500 inches. It is .478 inches. It renders the collet I use most useless. Did not discover this until it was too late to return. Don't know if others have this issue but is frustrating after spending the $98. Should have gone with another brand.

Runs true, well made
The most important aspect of these things is minimal runout, so I was a little leery of ordering this. But after I received it I check the runout with a dial indicator. It was -.001 and +.002, .003 total using the 1/2" collet. The body itself had .001" runout, so the machining is very well done. You can't do better than that, and this one is a lot cheaper than some of the other models.

Good quality
The case is not the best, but the product is very good. no detectable runout. I use it on my wood lathe.
