Ten star customer service
I got this because I follow Lindsey the OT on Instagram (Equipmeot) every single day and I knew if I had a problem, she'd resolve it. There are a trillion lotion applicators on Amazon. I liked almost everything about this one. It feels like really good quality, it has a nice weight to it that actually makes it easier to glide over your back, and it has a knobby side to it that feels great. I like the black mity it came with. I'm sick of flimsy sponge things that get yucky very quickly. The only thing is that it was a little hard to bend, (I'm 77, with arthritis in a couple fingers). Now that I've broken it, I understand I should have just left it in the position I got it into. But I was also worried I'd gotten a defective one. Don't bend it from right under the head, go down a little. I reached out to Lindsey and INSTANTLY got a reply, saying she'd send a new one to my home address, just tell her where. Wow. She also said she is working on making it easier to bend. She even sent a link to a different lotion applicator that I might like, even though she gets no money whatsoever from that one, it isn't even her product. So many people must write her every day and the fact that she answered so quickly..well, it just goes along with the way her personality comes across on Instagram. I'm a former RN, medic and massage therapist who's worked in a PT unit in a hospital and the brilliant ideas I come across on Lindsey's Instagram page are priceless. She is also on You Tube, where the videos are longer. Anyone who is remotely interested in making life a little easier and in easing some effortlessness into mobility challenges should check her out. I don't know her, I just stumbled across her Instagram page by accident. If you can't afford your own private duty 24/7 OT, check out her Instagram and You Tube..you won't regret it. She also has links to all the products she reviews on an Amazon page. It's because of her that I tramp around in Kizik shoes all day...

Works ok
I use this for getting oil on my back after a shower and it works ok. I have to be careful keeping the oil on it and getting the oil to my back. I kept two stars because it does not bend. I even tried using the edge of the counter for leverage to bend it. Nope, no bend. I was counting on that bend. So, I am still having to contort. I do have to say that it is built to last. It is very sturdy.

Love it, but does not bend
First, I'll say I really do like it. It's very well made and looks like it will hold up for a very long time. It's a little bigger than I expected, which is great - the applicator part being about the size of my hand. However, it does not bend as represented. It is indeed flexible, but does not hold a bended shape. It springs back. Still, I'd buy it again, because it appears to be well made. Sturdy metal inside, really pretty color, nice, thick silicone coating.

Best Back Lotion Applicator
The is the best back lotion applicator I have ever used. It is firm and stiff enough to allow you to actually rub the lotion in, rather than just smearing it on. It is bendable, but takes a lot of force to bend. To bend an angle into it you need to brace it against a hard immovable service and then put a lot of pressure/weight to crimp it at the spot where you want a bend.

Life changing
I LOVE this thing! I have RA, and it can be really difficult, if not painful, for me to try and apply lotions or creams to my back. This solves that problem. It is pretty hard to bend the arm, which is a blessing and a curse - it maintains its shape, but getting a sharp angle on it is difficult. For me though, I don't need a terribly sharp angle, just a slight bend, and it can handle that!

To flimsy
, Nice Concept, bad product, even after you get it bent a little, it's way to flimsy and doesn't hold. Honestly not worth the price, find something with a wood handle

Soft, bendable, VERY HELPFUL!
I've Lymphedema, M.S., feet & legs problems after being on Jardiance. I constantly have to put lotion, ointment, or pain stuff, like lidocaine, on my legs and feet. This tool is a life changer! The past 2 years, without it, were difficult in getting those things done. It's so much easier now!!!

I love the idea of this device very much and I think it’s worth purchasing for those who struggle to wash or have limited mobility especially in their shoulders. My struggle was that I didn’t have the strength in my hands or arms in order to bend it usefully for me. So it is still beneficial and I do not regret the purchase, but I need to figure out how to make it a bit more flexible for me.
