EPSON LQ 590ii 24 PIN PRINTER
So far the This Printer is Functioning Good. I've only had it a few day's so I can't say anything about durability. I went with a 24 pin Dot Matrix, cause that's what I had before(Fujitsu DL3400) and it lasted 34 year's, with Letter Quality Printing. The Ribbon Cartridge's cost about 10 to 14 $'s, and last a long time. Operateing Cost is Very Important to me. I selected another Font on the printer that wasn't Draft to get Letter Quality Print. This Printer also has a LOW NOISE SETTING, for those that need it. I only needed Tractor Feed, Black Print, Letter Quality, Low Operateing Cost, and Long Durability, so I'm really glad that these 24 Pin are still available. I used a Parallel to USB Printer Cable that I allready had and it work's perfect. It came with a CD Rom for loading the Driver and Work's Great with Window's 10. The CD handled the complete install,, so that made it really ease to connect to Window's 10. So far I don't have anything bad to say about this printer, but be sure to read the instruction's before putting it together and the Printer Manual is on the CD (For English) in the "EN" Manual File. I downloaded mine onto my Desktop so that I can store the CD for safe keeping. You may find it helpful to Search for and Watch Online Video's on How to Assemble and Set Up Your LQ590ii Printer. To install the Rear Tractor Pull Start Reading on PG 31. The Paper Tensioner has to be REMOVED. For those that need the Wide Carriage, I think maybe the LQ 2090ii look's like it might be it. Epson told me that they are still makeing Dot Matrix Printer's so there are still those that know how good they are. Dot Matrix is Old School for Sure,, but for many of us it's still the Best for what We Need. ***Update 9/7/23*** It's been 1 year and so far so good. No Problem's and The Print is Nice and Black. I did watch some Video's when Setting up the printer which really helped. Old School for Sure,, but Really Really Glad that I Stayed with Dot Matrix, for Durability and Low Operation Cost. Don't be a Day Late and a Dollar Short, Get You one while they are Still Available.

Perfect replacement for my old Epson LQ-850
When my 36 y/o Epson LQ-850 24-pin dot matrix printer gave up the ghost, I needed to find a replacement that would work with all my old DOS software and DOS computers with parallel ports. This printer 100% fits the bill and works perfectly with all the DOS programs that I have written for it and the LQ-850 printer drivers included with my purchased DOS software. It prints much faster and is easier to use. For example, on the LQ-850 when using cut sheet paper it was necessary to push the Load/Eject button after feeding the paper into the guide before it would load. On the LQ-590II it will sense the paper in the guide and automatically load it w/o having to push the Load/Eject button. It includes all the stock fonts from the LQ-850 plus optional modules with the exception of OCR-B, such that all fonts used in my documents can be printed. One complaint I have is that the installation instructions are poor and there is no printed User's Guide, which must be viewed on the CD. Since PDF files cannot be viewed in DOS, this means that I have to view the User's Guide on a different machine running Windows. It took me about 10 minutes to figure out how to install the tractor for use with perforated continuous sheet paper. The detailed User's Guide does not cover programming at all, so it's fortunate that I still have my beautiful old LQ-850 spiral bound printed User's Guide. So, I've removed one star for the poor and incomplete documentation, but the printer itself is excellent and is definitely recommended for someone needing to replace an old Epson LQ series printer.

Arrived early
I am an accountant that has clients that utilize software that must be printed on a dot matrix. We have been looking to replace a worn out printer but could not quite find what we needed. This printer arrived early and works great. It is a workhorse. Great printer for the price. Couldn't be happier with my experience regarding price and shipping. Would definitely buy from this seller again.

Epson Lq-590ii
The printer works very well. I'm using it to print a 5-page form document. Every page is clear.

Expensive garbage
Its a piece of junk. This is my second one. I use it for work and I get a constant 3 beep which stops it from printing my continuous paper. I've reloaded the paper and tried different paper settings. Such an expensive printer to not work

Good printer
Just a newer version of what we had the old Epson 590 finally bit the dust. This new model is very similar and seems like it will be just fine. The price seems good and the delivery was quick.

Good printer. Just know what you're buying.
This is a great printer for older systems. I was able to get it running on my IBM PCjr from 1985! It also has a lot of good documentation. However it does not come with drivers for Windows 9x. Oh well, what can you expect these days. Oh, the ink is super cheap! It's like $5 for 1500 pages!

Great value
Prints pdf novices way faster better and quieter than ml420 oki. I used to think oki was best in dotmat. Not anymore
