Better than I expected
Bought it kind of unsure, but it actually works really well. I live in a small apartment and my place used to smell like food all day. Now I just turn this on while cooking and it clears the air. It's not loud, looks clean, and does what it's supposed to. Happy with it.

My apartment finally smells normal lol
Got this ‘cause my buddy wouldn’t shut up about it 😂 Honestly didn’t expect much but it actually works super well. I cook a lot and my tiny apartment used to smell like bacon for days—now it’s way better. It’s quiet, looks cool, and sucks up all the smoke and smell. Kinda wish I had this thing sooner lol. Definitely worth it if you’re tired of your place smelling like last night’s dinner.

Does not work as advertised
1. Noise level is average, there is a higher speed setting where it gets slightly noisier but nothing overwhelming.2. This size is convenient to keep on any counter near your cooktop.3. The build looks sleek. there is a small metal circle that is inlaid in the port meant to connect the fan to power. This little circle piece popped out after 2 weeks of use. There is a removable plastic filter piece that is designed to sit inside the fan and can be removed for ease of cleaning. There are also 2 carbon filters that come with the device that are not noted or explained in the manual so I figured that out in my own to place in the back of the removable plastic filter. They don’t seem to do much for absorbing smell but are better than just using the plastic filter on its own.4. This definitely creates air flow which can be seen by the cooling vapors getting sucked into the fan. However, I found that it does not remove greasy cooking air. There’s a small compartment in the back of the fan to supposedly collect cooking oils out of the air it sucks in. This is shown in their video. I’ve used this device now for over a month with both types of filter settings and on all speed settings - it has never collected a drop. It remains dry and clean, untouched.5. This device does not significantly cut down on cooking fumes or greasy cooking fumes. I live in a studio so that’s why I wanted something to reduce cooking fumes but this just spread the air around. It’s overpriced at $100 for what it claims to do. I unfortunately cannot return it because I’ve had the product past the return window date as I tried to give it a chance.

Pretty solid
I don’t have a kitchen vent, so everything used to get smoky fast. This little thing helps a lot. I use it every day and it makes a real difference. Super easy to set up and you can move it around too, which is a plus. Definitely useful.

Portable vent for cooking
Love it, where my electric range is, I could never figure out how to use a vent, and trust me, over the years of not having a vent, the grease builds up on your ceiling and cabinets, this was a game changer, and so far its does its job, and I can put it away after cooking. Best purchase Ive ever made for my kitchen.

I loved it - until it Melted.
The main removable magnetic black plastic front filter with the orange plastic rim (and the plastic grid in the back of the carbon filter) melted significantly after cooking multiple steaks on my stove for my extended family. It worked well, but I'm afraid to use it another few times as it will continue to melt if using continuously for over 10min+. No, it wasn't too close to the stove/pan... just close enough for the intended use, but I guess it couldn't take the heat which is a bad design. Sad, because it worked well for the first couple times I used it. Just bad plastic material as the heat/smoke melted the black plastic for both the removable front and back grid that sandwiches the replaceable black carbon material. I'm gonna return it.
