I couldn't get the top off as it was too tight even using various tools (e.g., strap wrench). I didn't want to break it (all plastic) so gave up and just used extractor mode to load the tool with transmission fluid. It took way too long, but ultimately it did work. 1 star taken off for that. The dispenser mode worked like a charm and is much faster and less messy than the hand pump I used before. The Nissan adapter fit perfectly on my Armada. There was more air leakage though the mode selector than I would have expected (Clark mentioned in his review), but it still worked great....compressor just ran and ran and ran. Overall, makes the task less dreadful.

This really is a nice tool. Well made, and functions as it should. Molded plastic container/base is thick and well made. Tool kit provided an option that worked perfectly with my car (X7 w/ ZF transmission).

Easy to use

Works very well ! Quite versatile

Works pretty decent, it uses a LOT of air though, I was using my dad old 13 gallon hot dog compressor and it was struggling. But it worked fine. It is kinda tricky getting it work both directions... I did modify the container slightly by filing down the inner lip to JUST fit a 1 qt gear oil jug to fill my Explorer PTU. It's kinda a pain to get the old fluid out, a built-in drain plug would be nice for the container. I might go ahead and do that myself though. I used the 6mm long plastic line piece and was able to get a fair bit of fluid out of the PTU.

Great tool. Works as designed! Very versatile. Pulling and pushing fluid from one container!!

Made changing brake fluid, power steering fluid, and transmission fluid so much easier and faster.
