It’s only been a day, but the result is obvious: my cats are obsessed with this wand toy. We’ve gone through countless cheap telescoping wand toys, and they all break the same way. The pole snaps when it hits the floor or gets dragged around a corner during play. This wand feels noticeably sturdier and better made. I took a chance on the higher price because of the warranty and the attention to detail, and so far it feels worth it. My cats usually ignore feather toys, but they love this one. The feather attachment looks natural (brown, bird-like instead of neon colors) and spins through the air in a way that keeps them engaged. The movement feels more realistic than most cat wand toys we’ve tried. The wall attachment is also a nice bonus for storage as there’s usually nowhere good to store these things. It’s early, but this toy has already reignited their interest in active play. If it holds up over time, I’ll be very happy with this purchase. Small downside: The clasp that connects the toy is very stiff and hard on fingers. I appreciate that it feels secure and safe for cats, but including a small tool to open the clasp would be a big improvement.

5 stars so far! Have not had this long so we will see how it survives in the long run, but first impression is fantastic. Solid construction, long with just the right length cord to match. Fishing swivel works great with the included feather toy. It spins perfectly like a fishing lure as it flies through the air. Cats love it more than previous comparable toys even without any jingle bell on it. If it breaks early, I'll revise, but I'm pretty confident it will last. Even the packaging tube it came in was good quality. If you spend the money to protect the product in transit like this, your are not slouching on the product itself. Well worth the higher price tag, you won't regret it!

I have bought cheaper fishing sticks for playing with my cats. Other cheaper sticks break quickly. This stick is a little pricier but worth the cost. The stick is sturdy and has a good grip. This appears to be good quality and was fun playing with my cats. The cats were fully engaged and mesmerized by this interactive toy. The toy arrived on time and I recommend this Forever Stick to play with your cat.

My cat loves the fishing pole toys, but we kept going through them because they would break (she would bend them until they snapped, I would accidentally step on them, etc.). So, I mostly ordered this forever stick because of its name and purported durability. After getting it, I can confirm it does seem much more durable than the others. It has a nice weight to it and it moves easily. The handle is nice too. But, a bit surprisingly, the absolute best part of this toy is the feather toy that comes with it. It’s very cleverly made so that, when you whisk it through the air, the feathers spin in such a way that it looks like a big moth or small bird flying through the air. Our cat absolutely LOVES it. She will happily chase the feather toy around in circles until she plops on the floor panting. It’s like they figured out the maximum stimulus for a cat. I highly recommend this stick and the feather toy!

I have only had this toy for one day, and my cat loves the toy, caught the brown feathers in her mouth and proceeded to walk away with it! That means my cat approves of the toy! However, one feather has already been pulled out. She did not eat the feather. Update: It’s been 5 days, and all brown feathers have come out! The wand is still in good condition, including the string which she often puts in her mouth and pulls on the string, but I hide it from her at bedtime. The black wand is thicker than the first brand that I purchased, which is a popular telescoping wand. The cork handle is nice, and my cat has already sniffed it, but has not chewed on the wand or handle yet. I bought this wand because my cat chewed through one of the 2 telescoping wands, breaking it in half; so this is a replacement for the broken telescoping wand. Both brands have nice wand flexibility. My cat likes to play with the strings as well, and so far, she has not chewed through either the nylon black cord from this Repounce product, or the thick, clear fishing-like wire from the other brand. Again, the other brand wand did not break, my cat chewed through the wand. I am hoping that she cannot or does not try chewing through this wand. My cat likes to chase the wand too, and chews on the attachment ends; therefore, I would like a clasp like the other brand has, as seen in the last photo. This Repounce brand has a sharp pin clasp to attach both the string to the wand and the toy to the string. I show a photo of the clasp open and closed. In the photo, you can see that I put one long feather toy from my other brand onto this brand, which comes with the 3 short brown and white feathers. In the photo, you see only 2 brown and white feathers. Within one week, my cat has already pulled all of the brown feathers out. The other brands long colorful feathers have lasted two weeks without being pulled off. I would have given this cat toy a 5 star rating if the clasp was more like the other brand, and the feathers stayed in and were longer. The feathers included with the toy do flutter nicely with this wand. The Repounce wand is heavier than the other brand, and after 2 weeks, the wand is still intact. The cat does have fun with it, but she plays with all the toy, including putting the clasps in her mouth.
