Not suitable for riding
I wanted to use this for chaffing wounds during camel riding, but the stickiness is not strong enough and comes right off (i.e. rolls into itself in less than an hour, not protecting the wound sufficiently

I've been trying to heal a pressure wound on my heel for some time. This rectangular shape of bandage seemed like a good fit for wrapping around the heel. It did, and to my relief, the adhesive worked well to hold it on, and the silicone did a great job of absorbing the fluid.

These are very absorptive, but I have an unexpected outcome…these are for my dog. I clip his fur all around this protruding, highly exudative tumor. With the dressing alone, and even when I put an ace wrap on over this dressing, it doesn’t take long before the dressing slides off of the area it needs to be. Using a compressive wrap to keep a dressing designed for seeping skin conditions in place kind of defeats the ability for the dressing to fully do its job, too. If I could make a suggestion, making the boundary larger might help.

If you apply these correctly these will not leak.

The silicone pads were the correct size and the self adhesive works well. These were recommended by my wound care physician. Mine is used for post wound care. My particular size is a 4”X8” which is the perfect size.
