I have just given the Daewoo cleaner a good write up - and this product was recommended by Amazon UK to accompany it, so I decided to give it a go.The Daewoo works well and this shampoo seems to work well with it - the study's carpet tiles actually have a visible pile once again (after years of no show) and the shampoo makes the room smell like a florist shop.I'm just sorry I didn't get it/them earlier.

This did a good job of a relatively badly soiled carpet that hadn’t had a good clean for years.Obviously the cleaning solution is just one part of the process and a lot is going to depend on the extractor and how much time you spend, but it certainly did a decent job.Foaming was not a problem and at the suggested dilution ratio I gave a medium sized front room, a vestibule area, and an armchair a thorough cleaning with solution left over. At the price it’s decent value for money.The only thing I would say is that I didn’t think there was much of a scent. I actually thought it was unscented until I looked back at the product description. Not an issue for me but if you like things to “smell clean” you may wish to go with something different.

I wouldn't say that this is the best around, 3 times I did my stairs' carpet to get them to aclean enough standard. I will pay extra next time and get something stronger to use. Still,it got rid of 80% of the dirt, hope to get it cleaner next time with something else.
