Amazon Basics Carbon Odour-Control Dog and Puppy Training Pads, Leakproof with Quick-Dry Surface, X-Large, Pack of 50, Grey

We have a now 16 week golden retriever puppy and are going through the house training stage at the moment. We had to delay his vaccinations as he was a bit poorly at first so he wasn't allowed outside until recently. As you can imagine we then needed a lot of puppy pads whilst he was stuck indoors. We tried most brands on the market ranging from pets at home, home bargains, Wilko's and b&m but we decided to try these. We opted for the large size as with the energetic little fluff bundle we have we were using 4 standard size ones until he perfected his aim. These would always scatter the moment the zoomies hit or sometimes the moment he walked on them! The large ones are about the size of 2 standard size pads if you have had those before. The absorption rate was very quick and best of all we had no soggy mat leaking out underneath onto our laminate flooring! The mats are grey in colour which personally I prefer as I hate seeing the yellow pee spots on the mats! The mats also were wonderful for absorbing any scent from the pee. Can't say we noticed any at all. Overall we are thrilled with these and have to agree with the other reviews that they are the best we have tried so far. Love the fact they come compact in a box and Amazon have also gone to the effort of decorating the box with little bones etc which we thought was cute little touch.

Now have this order on a monthly basis, happy with size of the pads and price. Very effective.

Good puppy pads. Absorbs well but found occasionally they do leak a little.

Dont make the same mistake as i did, and looks like others have too. The grey/ silver goes to the top not the white. If you have them with the white to the top the urine just sits there and doesn't absorb....

I have tried a lot of different brands of puppy pads and these ones are really unique. They are brilliant, they lock the smell in completely. I often forget to change them now as they don't smell at all. We don't have a garden so keep a pad on the floor for our dogs to use and these are brilliant, I will only be buying these from now on. The price is a little higher than the old brand I used but I really think they are worth the extra cost as they last longer and keep any odour under control

No different to the real cheap ones you buy in a poundshop. Charcoal is supposed to be super absorbent and good with smells. It still takes a few seconds to soak in. Don’t think I’ll buy again can get better from my local shops. Only bonus was the grey colour matched my decor better! Haha

These have been the best puppy pads I’ve used. Having tried various kinds, these ones are actually odour free and absorb a lot of liquid. I would highly recommend this product!

Después de varias semanas de uso, puedo decir que cumplen exactamente con su función, igual que otras del mercado, pero con la ventaja de que el precio es más competitivo. 🔹 Primeras impresiones El paquete de 80 unidades llega bien embalado y las almohadillas se presentan plegadas de forma ordenada, lo que facilita mucho su almacenamiento. A simple vista no se diferencian demasiado de otras marcas más caras: el material se siente resistente, la superficie tiene buena absorción y el color gris es un detalle práctico porque disimula mejor las manchas que el clásico blanco. 🔹 Funcionamiento y absorción En el día a día, las almohadillas han funcionado muy bien. La superficie de secado rápido evita que las patas del perro se ensucien o se mojen tras usarlas, y el núcleo de carbón ayuda a controlar el olor de forma bastante eficaz. No diría que elimina completamente el olor, pero sí lo reduce lo suficiente para mantener la casa más limpia y agradable. Otro punto positivo es que realmente son a prueba de fugas. Incluso con perros que orinan en abundancia, el líquido queda bien retenido sin filtrarse al suelo. Esto me da tranquilidad, sobre todo cuando no estoy en casa para cambiarlas inmediatamente. 🔹 Comparación con otras marcas He probado varias marcas de almohadillas de adiestramiento y, en general, la calidad es muy similar. La gran diferencia está en el precio: con estas de Amazon Basics obtienes prácticamente lo mismo, pero gastando menos. Para un producto que se usa y se tira a diario, ese ahorro se nota bastante a largo plazo. 🔹 Aspectos a mejorar Lo único que podría mejorarse es que se ofrecerían también en paquetes más grandes con descuento extra, ya que los dueños de cachorros o perros pequeños las usamos con mucha frecuencia. Aparte de eso, no he notado ninguna diferencia negativa frente a marcas más conocidas. 🔹 Conclusión En resumen, estas almohadillas de adiestramiento Amazon Basics cumplen perfectamente con su función: absorben bien, controlan el olor, no tienen fugas y se secan rápido. Lo mejor es que lo hacen a un precio más ajustado que otras marcas similares. Si buscas una opción fiable y económica para entrenar a tu cachorro o para uso diario con tu perro, me parecen una elección muy acertada. Sin duda, las volvería a comprar.

Hemos probado varios empapadores desde que nació la camada de cachorros de nuestra perra y desde luego, este con creces es el mejor, no solo por su tamaño, ya que te evitas tener que poner muchos por todos lados, si no por su alta capacidad de absorción. Además de ello, al absorber la orina, la superficie se mantiene seca (salvo que se sature con reiterados pipis). A su vez, absorben el olor por lo que evitas ese olor desagradable de orín. Con el tema deposiciones consistentes, es como cualquier otro empapador. La caca se queda, tienes que recogerla (obvio). Como dato para los que empiezan a tener cachorros: no limpies el suelo con lejía, puesto que esta es un detergente amoniacal y la orina contiene amoniaco, por lo que, una vez seco el suelo, el olor que queda atrae a tu perro y volverá a orinar allí donde lo limpiaste. Recomiendo productos desinfectantes sin lejía, o incluso bicarbonato y agua caliente. Por último si se hace pipi fuera del empapador, puedes absorber parte de ese pipi con el empapador para que el olor atraiga a tu cachorro y el siguiente pipi lo haga en el empapador. Como evita los malos olores, es una gran manera de instruir a tu perro.
