Works well

Love K&N. Got an K&N cold air intake on my 02 jeep wj and it increased my gas mileage to 23 mpg on average and highway my instant mpg stays around 29 to 32 mpg. I decided to put a K&N air filter in my 19 camry and it increased the mpg as well. Doesn't cost much more than other filters and with it being a easy replacement with simple install you should upgrade to this, the improved mpg will more than make up for the extra 4 to 6 bucks for this filter.

Fits my 2021 Camry 2.5l SE. No difficulty on the fit in the box. Box fit right on and two clamps were easy to fasten. I will be buying these from here on out every year 18k. Don’t expect the dealerships to change them during your 2 year free maintenance or regularly. Mine did not. Only issue I had was I didn’t get a brand new unopened filter. It was a return, but I didn’t pay for a used/returned one. It was still in like new condition and not damaged. I expect the person ordered wrong one and returned. I’m leaving five stars on the quality and eases of fit of the filter. Good job K&N. It matches or exceeds OEM.

Gud quality but little pricy

I cannot comment on performance and longevity of this filter, as I just bought it. I'd imagine it'll do an OK job (I still haven't seen a "bad air filter"). My comment pertains to manufacturing and quality control of this product, which in my opinion is not great. The box seemed unopened (which is good), but when I got the filter out and inspected it, I noticed a lot of manufacturing debris on it. It looks like cat hair. This are likely the fibers used in manufacturing that were not blown off, but rather left on the product. Also, found some glue remnants on the side of the filter (normally, this filter comes with a glue stripe across the intake, but it looks like there was some "runaway glue" on the machine that made it). The good part is that there was no debris on the vehicle intake side, which means nothing harmful would get into the engine. The bad part is that there is debris on the filter, which I cleaned out, and the existence of debris tells me that the quality control and manufacturing of this item are not up to standards (especially considering the price of this product). The filter itself is made in China, for what is worth (more or less like all the air filters nowadays). Because the box was unopened, I have no reason to believe that the debris got in there during transport. I cleaned it up, and I will use the filter. I am not likely to purchase this filter again as I am not impressed with what I've seen. Also, I noticed this product is advertised as "Like New". I cannot help but wonder why are they not showing it as "New". It seems new. It could be a simple mistake. It could be something else. Overall, I am not very confident in this filter.
