Fab!
These are great. Large, sturdy, well made. These have been well played with and thrown by my SEN child and theyre robust enough to survive. The sounds are so nice and i find myself playing with them.

Great sensory toy
My son will absolutely love these. Haven’t opened as they are a Christmas gift. But first impressions are great.

Lovely sensory toy
The media could not be loaded. ⛈️A set of three sensory tubes based on the weather⛈️From Learning Resources a great educational brand. I've used lots of their products over the years as an erstwhile early years and primary teacher. They are always of great quality and rigorous in play⛈️You get three tubes - one for drizzle, shower and storm - we love the storm with the tinkering sound in the middle⛈️These would be lovely in music play, topics around weather but for me are perfect as an all round sensory resource that can help children regulate⛈️The design means that they stand on their ends but you can also lay flat and they don't roll⛈️The design on the end means that they are easy for little hands to grasp and move around

Fun Sensory Tubes with Soothing Sounds
These sensory tubes are a fantastic way for kids to explore and learn about weather sounds: a soft drizzle, rainfall, and a storm. They’re very sturdy and seem to be quite securely sealed, making them safe for little hands to shake, drop, and explore without worry (ours survived several tumbles!). The soothing sounds are calming, though the “storm” tube could use a bit more “oomph” for effect as i dont think it sounds like a storm. Unfortunately i also feel that at around the £20 mark they are a little too expensive.I hope you found my review helpful :)

Soothing
This has been perfect for a child in reception with SEND. Calms them down quickly.

Choking hazard
Passed to a toddler, they held it, the end fell off, and lots of small balls fell into the carpet - chocking hazard. Not sure if this genuinely passed safety tests. Label on the back said it did.Not sure why I need to bother returning this item.

Interesting and enjoyable, but not exactly rain-like...
These are interesting and our little one is quite fascinated by them, mostly due to how tactile and visually interesting it is to see these little balls spiral around the tube. The sounds they produce are quite nice—especially the drizzle one which has quite a dense sound compared to the others. However, I will say that the sounds don't quite match up to the natural sound of rain that I was expecting (it's more noisy and like a rattle) and it's also very short lived - you'll get about a second of sound each time you flip them. Also, the storm tube doesn't always work, mainly because the little balls inside tend to get stuck in the middle if you aren't careful. It requires pretty specific handling so our little one isn't a fan of it, but still enjoys the others!I was surprised at how big the tubes are, but at least they're really easy for small hands to grip. They do have a decent calming effect even if the sound isn't too rain-like, due to how tactile the whole process is. However, I do think they could have been a bit better as I really like the concept.

Usefully size.
These are a useful size for our young ones to hold. There are three different sounds made by the tubes. I would say they are suitable for younger than 3 years, with adult supervision.
