It's a no brainer
If you're in the position to do a first install ie before all the plasterboard and tile goes in (or can even cut out a section for an after-install) this is what you want. This product makes the install so easy. No fussing about with precise 150mm on-centre measurements for pipe fittings. This plate guarantees. Want to to mess about getting the measurements spot on and haggle with wood and screws that don't want to take precision? Be my guest. For £20 this is foolproof and a joy to work with.

Good product. One tiny flaw...
Good value for money and does exactly as intended by getting your pipe centres bang on 150mm. Although, as mentioned in previous reviews, there is (in my opinion) a flaw in the design. The supplied fixings that slide over the copper pipe and are fixed in place by compression do not create enough friction on the pipe to securely hold it whilst tightening down the shower valve. If you tighten the valve nuts just a fraction too much the whole thing has to be dismantled and you have to start again. Apart from this, the shower is installed, leak free and working great.

A Great bit of kit
Takes away all guesswork, no thinking required, undo the packaging and use. However, for belt and braces, there is also a very clear YouTube instruction video. I never expected it to be so good. Simple, accurate and precise. It made fitting a new shower a piece of cake, and I have no previous plumbing skills.

Brilliant adjustable design
Look at their Youtube video on how to install this and you will realise how brilliant it is. Protruding pipe length is adjustable after pipes fitted, which is life-saving during a complex install. Holds the pipes securely (including in/out movement) which is so much better than having pipe clips etc. Pre-set spacing makes fitting a mixer really easy. This may not be the cheapest solution but you won't regret spending the money I promise you.
