GoProContacto (HERO13, HERO12, HERO11, HERO10, HERO9) - Official GoPro Accessory (ADCON-001)

Used this on a multi thousand mile road trip and it worked outstanding the whole time. The way the magnet grabs the correct position is outstanding. No problems with the door or the fit. Note that this will not have the same water resistance as the original door, but that was clear in the instructions. Swapping the doors was easy, just open to 90 degrees and gently pull out, do not force or twist. Very happy with this. It was expensive, but did a great job and happy with the results.

This is almost a must when setting up a GoPro. The upgraded door makes it easy to attach charging, and any other USB-C accessories that one could need. The magnetic attachment is positive in attaching snd solid contact is made by the connector. Switching between accessories is as easy as removing the magnetic connector, or simply disconnecting the external USB-C from the magnetic connector extension. This is a must have for my setup. Is use it to charge the battery as well as attaching lapel lavaliere mics for interviews.

Recently recieved a gift for an amazing GO PRO 13. I have never owned one and having an amazing time learning new things to record with. I do notice that charging a GO PRO is a bit of a hassle. You must remove the side cover then connect in to charge. Remove and replace each time. I worry that this process will eventually wear out the charge port (USB-C). This has been a game-changer for me. I do long-form videos and I take the normal battery out to prevent overheating and hook this into a large power bank and I've been able to shoot video for 12+ hours straight. It comes with a few different cords at different lengths that make it very convenient. It stays securely in place, is well built, and weighs next to nothing. There is a part of me that wishes there was a latch to secure it even further, similar to the latch for the GoPro to quickly connect and disconnect from different mounts. I'd buy this again in a heartbeat.

Expensive but very nice for attaching my power bank. Most important to me is when I don't have a cable attached, this door maintains the waterproof status of my Gopro!

This is so cool! I bought it for when I'm muddin and using batteries they die after an hour or so. I bought this to eliminate the battery and it works just fine. You should know when first using it you have less than 5 seconds to swipe down on the screen or it goes into USB connected mode and you can't get out of it without powering it off. Using my GoPro 10 HERO when I turn it on I found swiping down with 2 fingers (one finger won't do it) it will go into normal operation mode and I use it for 4-5 hours none stop with a 512 Gb SDCard and still have at least half of the memory card unfilled. Go get dirty!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:When you spend as much as you do for a GoPro, go with the name brand! Went on super easily, quick to charge our GoPro Black 12 (not the latest model). Appreciate that it comes with 3 (!) chargers with different length cords.
