Nice cable just the right length

Why I Bought It I picked up this UGREEN DisplayPort-to-HDMI cable because I needed a reliable way to connect my PC (with DisplayPort output) to a TV/projector (HDMI input). I wanted decent build quality (braided jacket, aluminium connectors) plus 4K performance without having to worry about signal dropouts or flimsy design. Setup / First Impressions The cable feels well made: the braid is snug, the aluminium ends give a sturdy first impression, and the connectors fit securely. It’s plug-and-play; no driver or extra setup needed. The 1m length is just about right for my desk setup so there’s not much cable slack to worry about. Performance / Quality In use, it delivers clean 4K video (at expected refresh rate) to my monitor without flicker or image artifacts. Audio is clean, too, and there’s no noticeable lag when switching inputs or powering on. The signal remains stable even with heavy content (video, gaming, etc.), though one downside is that for more demanding refresh rates/colors (if pushing beyond 4K30), performance is more limited. Also, it’s uni-directional: it only works from a DisplayPort source → HDMI display, not the other way around. This cable does not support Dolby Atmos. Overall, transmitting any meaningful audio signal through this cable is quite challenging.
