Great simple smart radio. Works with elrs protocol, easy to pair with a random receiver chip. Built a few drones and used this remote to connect. Plasticky, but gets the job done. The sticks aren’t very smooth around center position. You will feel the mid point as you cross it.

Just got into FPV drones, this is a great radio at a good price. Ive had 0 issues and im able to control multiple tinywhoops and use it on a sim. I also charge the batteries through the device and have had no issues. If youre looking for a cheap starting point i dont think you can do better.

Best Bang for your buck Drone radio! Update, A year later, this is still one of my favorite radios. this Poecket is the Tinywhoop radio for many. After a year, one of the buttons on the top is starting to feel a tiny sticky but i think i can fix it, opening this radio up is super easy, they sell different color shells seperately. If you're on the fence between this or a larger radio like a zoro I suppose it depends how big your hands are and how much resolution in movement with a bigger gimbal, even the zorro doesnt use full size gimbals, I use my Boxer or T16 for most pro gigs just cause they way it looks, I can control my cinematic $1,000 drones with this radio if i wanted to. Also the bigger radios like zorro have metal switches and better materials so there's that. I still don't like the zorro becuase of its batterylife. this pocket last all day and uses 18650' so you can bring extra and swap them out if you want to keep flying. I still recommend this radio to everyon I know who's starting out or fly's tinywhoops and wants a more concealed radio for guerrilla whooping. Original post I own a few radios: Boxer, Zorro, Tango 2 and this one. I like this more than the Tango once I put AGO1 gimbals on it. I pinch and find it very comfortable after dropping the gimbals with a print you can find online and raising the gimbals with the official radio master pocket stick end adapters. After doing that I get back more resolution in the movement similar that I get with my full size gimbals on my Boxer. If you're a thumber it's perfect. It's so light and small you don't need to use a lanyard with it. Disclaimer: It doesnt actually fit in your pockets unless you have big jacket pockets. butI love how I can fit it in my fanny pack or jacket pocket for a rip n dip. The Gimbals this radio comes with are just fine, the biggest difference with the ago1 nano when you add them is that you can loosen up them more than the plastic ones. I find many people fly their gimbals way too tight are fingers are always fighitng that resistance instead of just having them loose and using your fingres moving the drone instead of the springs and your fingers, i hope that makes sense. you can see when someone who has tight springs in thier flying also, it won't be as flowey. This is sort of a subjective thing some people love supter tight gimbals. Pro Tip: You Must get the Nano AGO1 gimbals for this radio (I included a screenshot), it will make it so much smoother after you loosen up the tension and make the sticks moer buttery. they are about $65 (excluding currdnt tarffis if thats still a thing) If you Pinch, print out spacers for this radio to drop the gimbals to give you more throw. however that being said I pinched just fine before I droped and raised the sticks but its even better now. I see this radio everywhere at FPV events even for pilots who fly 5'' they'll use this radio. It's perfect for freestyle. However that being said if you want to do serious long range over 2-3 miles I suggest buying a 1000 what module to put on the back module bay.
