Works great in providing light. There is no heat generation as this is just for providing uvb. Long lifespan.

I have a Whites Tree Frog & a Crested Gecko, each in a 30-gallon enclosure side by side. On "tank maintenance day", I replaced both 13-watt UVB bulbs with fresh ones. The light domes are from the same company, and were bought at the same time. Ib my photos, the light on the right is this product, the light on the left is a different (name) brand. I noticed right away that this bulb is a lot stronger and considerably brighter, compared to the other light. The price point was really good, and the product arrived perfectly without damage. It was a great UBV bulb for my 30-gallon tank, and I would recommend & purchase again.

It works well keeping my reptile skin and bones healthy! Nothing much and it’s a great value for its size. Still long lasting and I’ve had it for 1 year

I've bought Hygger bulbs in the past. I have a Madagascar giant day gecko my son bequeathed me years ago when he moved out on his own. This lizard has lived years past his normal lifespan thanks to having the right conditions. If there are any reptile newbies reading this, the correct spectrum of light is important. This is a 5.0 bulb. It's 13 watts, which is all small tanks need. The 5.0 spectrum is used for tropical animals. The 10.0 is used for desert animals. The construction of these seems to be similar no matter what company makes them, so my guess is that they all come from the same factory. One minor drawback is that you need to change this bulb at least once a year even if it hasn't burned out, since it loses its effectiveness eventually. The picture shows the bulb and the cardboard protector as it came out of the main sturdy box. It's packed so it doesn't break, and includes a user manual.

My turtle is brighter and happier with this specific bulb. Will buy again.

Bought on Mar. 15, 2025; died on July 18. In use approximately one hour a day (and not every single day) Worked well when I used it, but this short lifespan just wastes money and my time. I'll not buy this brand again.

Have purchased this before to fit in my ZooMed UVA-UVB dual lightbulb holder. Lasts approximately 8-12 months. I keep it on a timer for 8 hrs a day over my painted turtle tank.

If I could give this bulb zero stars, I would, I put it in my heat lamp. Fixture turned it on, and it sizzled and started smoking. Did not even light up once waste of money I would not buy this product ever again.
