Good Sound After EQ Adjustment – Works Well for Editing
Obager Classic 5 – Decent 2.1 Speaker (My Preferred EQ Setup) I’ve been using the Obager Classic 5 2.1 speaker system mainly for video editing and daily media use. After some tweaking, I found a sound profile that works best for my ears and workflow. My EQ settings: • Bass: 5/7 (max is 7, I keep it one step lower) • Mid: 7/7 • Treble: 6/7 With this setup, the sound feels balanced and controlled. The mids are the strongest part — dialogue and vocals come through clearly, which is important for editing. Bass is punchy enough without being overpowering, and treble stays clean without sounding harsh or fatiguing. Overall: For the price, this is a decent 2.1 speaker system. It’s not meant for heavy bass lovers, but for video editing, casual music, and daily use, it performs well with the right EQ adjustment.

I’ve been using the Obage Classic 5 Home Theatre System for some time now, and I’m genuinely impressed with its performance. The subwoofer delivers strong lower bass with a satisfying rumble, which really enhances movies, action scenes, and music. You can feel the bass without it becoming muddy or overpowering. The satellite speakers handle mids and highs very well, and dialogues remain clear and crisp, even at higher volumes. The build quality feels solid and premium, and the wooden cabinet adds a classy look to the setup. Installation is simple, and it works smoothly with my TV and other devices. One small suggestion: it would be even better if the satellite speaker wires were a bit longer, as that would provide more flexibility in speaker placement for larger rooms. I have compared OBAGE Classic-5 with others sound system which is under 5k INR & I can clearly say that the quality of obage sound system is really good, don't get confused with other brand in this is the best option available in Indian market

Compact Setup: Perfect for small rooms, where its design and power output suit the environment well. Cons: 1. No Bass and Treble Control: The absence of bass and treble adjustment options limits customization for audiophiles. 2. Bluetooth Connection Quality: The sound quality over Bluetooth feels subpar, and connection sound is comparable to cheaper Chinese systems. 3. Short Speaker Wires: The speaker wires are too short, which may be inconvenient for flexible placements. 4. No Included Cables: A free AUX cable, optical fiber, or HDMI cable should have been provided for better connectivity options. 5. Remote Design: The remote control feels cluttered with repeated and unnecessary buttons. A slimmer, minimalist design like the Mi TV remote would have been more user-friendly. 6. Equalizer Settings: The provided equalizer options do not show much variation, making them feel redundant.
