Great moisture tool!
Have about four of these. Great for inside plants as well as outside. Prevents over or under watering.

They Work Well!
At first, I looked for another digital moisture meter because they have a light so that I can see better. However, all of the 3 digital meters I tried gave incorrect readings. They were way off! So, finally I found these meters where the readings that they give me are correct! I feel So Fortunate! They are built in a satisfactory way for the price-point. They are about 7” - that is the measurement of the metal part that you stick in the soil. That is long enough to get to the bottom of a 6” pot or up to a 2 gallon pot. For my situation, I must read the moisture at the bottom of the pot because I have Super Sensitive Plants! Most of you will only need to put the meter 2” down in the soil to get a reading for if you should water. I will say that I have read about people saying that the moisture meter gave them different readings on both sides of the pot. It’s important to know that in order to have the pot register the same reading on both sides of the pot, make sure to water all around the pot evenly each time. Also, there is about a 2-3 second wait time for these meters to register the moisture correctly. This is because as you put the meter down into the soil, it may be dry at the top and affect your reading for a second or 2 lower in the pot. Or the opposite may happen when the top of the pot is wetter than it is farther down in the pot. I hope that these meters help you as much as they do me! They’re fantastic!

Light, long, and appears to work as intended.
Not a complicated device. The metal probe is 7" long. It seems to work and when the soil is wet, the needle actually moves! it takes the guessing out of when to water your plant (ie. you should always let your plants dry out before watering. Overwatering is one of the primary reasons for killing your house plants!). Overtime, you can probably guess if you need to water or not by the weight of the pot, but if the pot is too large to pick up, a device like this is a must. One note. Per the instructions, you cannot keep this in the soil for prolonged periods of time. ie. it can't be in water for an extended period of time.

Ricevuto oggi. L'ho testato subito su diverse piante del mio giardino e ha funzionato perfettamente.
