Great add on for the Amazon Basics tripod
These are a perfect fit for the Amazon Basics tripod if you have multiple different cameras you want to swap out quickly. I can have one of these on my main camera, one on my cell phone mount, and one on my GoPro frame and quickly switch between them as needed. (There are two in this pack, plus the one that came with the tripod).

Good replacement mount
This didn’t fit my tripod but giving 5 stars for design, price, and seller. Close match to my factory plate. I have an MX 2000 (no details o plate mount) and this one was too long (front to back - relative to the tripod head). Returning to find one that fits but this is a good option if it’s the right one.

perfectly 'nested'
the piece is perfectly 'nested' into correct position as if it grew there, ...then you lock the lever down; great fit; very nice wall thickness of overall architecture; steel hardware, good quality; screw set keeps threaded, main shaft in place while allowing full rotation; very functional rubber grab pad with spring loaded 'hideaway set pin'; really strong value here for a fraction of it's worth-

Not for older Nikon tripod
I searched for Nikon mount and this came up. Looks a lot like the Nikon mount but more cheaply made and did not fit my older Nikon tripod.

So pleased with how well this is designed, I was really struggling to find one compatible with my tripod which I brought like 7 years ago, it’s a Velbon df-51 and it was a struggle so glad I came across this one, perfect fit very secure better than the original one I got with it that I lost very happy customer glad there’s two in the pack aswell great price
