I recently tried to buy from a different dealer (starts with a "B") and received the wrong type of batteries (due to their advertising) and it cost me $30 shipping and 3 weeks of contacting the company to return them! This deal was much more successful! This time my deal was quick, uncomplicated and reasonably priced. The batteries fit and work perfectly and I was back to my projects 2 days after ordering! This is the company I recommend for replacement batteries.

These are as good as the name brand for way less. It is compatible to the name brand tools. It holds a charge for 6 months and I know this because we are snowbirds that found on return to our home ( after 6 months) that it was still charged and worked well

As others have said, it does not fit the charger well. But it works, holds a charge, and the capacity seems quite good. It is quite a bit lighter than the original, so that is a plus too. Bottom line- it allowed me to start using my old Dewalt cordless drill again, and that drill is just an absolute BEAST, with a half-inch chuck and tons of torque. Overall, recommended. And, the price was right!

My drill takes the DC9098 battery. These batteries were said to be compatible, so I ordered them because the price is good. First thing I noticed was they fit in my charger very tight and were hard to remove. They were also tighter in the drill, but after putting them in and out a few times, this wasn't an issue in the drill and with something handy to lightly pry they come out of the charger ok. I was puzzled what made them fit tighter and worried this might cause a problem, but upon inspection realized there is a metal clip/tab on the center post that my original batteries did not have. This clip makes that center tab thicker; therefore, fitting tighter. Not sure what this is for and couldn't find anything on-line other than something that said it was there to balance charging. Other than the tight fit, the batteries were compatible, charged up and worked as good as the originals when they were new. The tight fit is the only negative I have found with these batteries, but for the price and to have a powerful drill again, I think is only a slight inconvenience.

Still have a few older DeWalt tools that haven't croaked yet and these batteries seem to do a pretty good job. They hold the charge pretty well and for the amount of life that I figure I have in these old DeWalt lxt tools? I'm sure they'll suffice fine for the monetary value spent

We have an old Dewalt drill that the battery just couldn't get the job done anymore. I was skeptical about buying knock-off batteries for it, but there is such a huge savings that I figured what the heck - let's give them a shot. So happy I did! They worked GREAT right out of the box. Got the job done so much faster now that we had a drill that had some power. Would definitely recommend! Update: definitely hard to get to fit on the Dewalt charger for the first time. I couldn't do it, so husband man handled it on there. After we got them to fit that first time, now I can take them off and on myself from the charger. A little frustrating at first, but these are still definitely worth the buy.
