I couldn’t have found a better frame.
I bought this frame for a photograph that I took thirty years ago on my second and last trip to my homeland. It is on the “finca” in Cuba “owned” by one of my mom’s uncles. In the photo he’s with his machete in hand, smiling wide and riding his beloved horse, doing exactly what he most enjoyed. Unfortunately, shortly thereafter his beautiful Pinto was killed by Cuban military because they were so hungry. Tio was distraught and cried for days. This frame fits that photo perfectly because of its rustic essence; the aged bark compliments the weathered look of tio’s face and clothing but just as well, my memories of our day there. This is the perfect frame for a picture that I’ve always treasured but needed a new frame.

Nice quality frame
I'm happy with this rustic frame. It was a good value and is light in weight. I love the natural tree bark texture and the frame looks great on my wall.

Looks as pictured, with natural bark. The birchbark is glued onto a very basic standard frame underneath, but it’s the tarted-up front of the frame you are paying for, and I think it looks perfect for my little paintings. Love it so much I bought a second one. I cannot find anything like them in stores, not even in frame shops.

Really nice, rustic looking piece. I bought it for my cabin and it suits it well. It was a bit pricey but I'm happy with the purchase!
