Totally fine for $20
Note: When I bought this, the company offered me a free newer model camera, and when I said I was interested, they asked me to give a 5 star rating on this one first. I hate fake reviews on Amazon, so even if I would have given this 5 stars otherwise, I'm inclined not to now. I think a fair rating would be a 4.5 since it is a great little camera for $20, but now I'm rounding down because I don't like bought reviews and want this to be sincere even if they won't give me the free item now.I would not spend much more than $20 for this, but I'm very content with it for an inexpensive backup camera. I bought a Kenwood DDX9704S for my 2005 Ford F-150 and wanted a backup camera to go with it, and this one works well. The image quality is okay. It's plenty good to see where things are, but it's far from high resolution. It seems acceptable for a backup camera, though. The camera comes on within about a second of receiving power, so it works great when I jump in the car and immediately reverse. Fortunately my stereo will show the rear camera feed even while the stereo is still booting up if I reverse right away.It comes with non-adjustable parking assist lines overlaid on the image, but I believe I read that you can disable them by cutting the small white wire loop coming out of part of the main wire. I will probably do that because my stereo has adjustable parking assist lines I'd rather use. The camera ones are totally fine, though. There's no great way to adjust the camera, but you can gently bend the bracket that it's attached to for minor adjustments. I was able to get mine pretty straight, and it seems to stay that way.Hooking up the camera was not too hard. It comes with some very basic instructions, but I ignored them and did it mine own you. They recommend you splice into the reverse light wires for power. Then there's a little red wire inside the video cable that you can connect to your stereo on the other end so it knows when the vehicle is in reverse. It was nice having that extra wire included. However, what I didn't like about the recommended setup is that the camera only works when the car is in reverse because you're powering it off the reverse light. I wanted the camera on anytime the ignition is on in case I want to manually switch the radio to the rear camera feed while driving or whatever. I was able to accomplish that by connecting included extra red wire in the video cable to the ignition wire for my stereo, which now powers the camera whenever the ignition is on. In the back of the truck, I just connected the ground wire for the camera to the frame by stuffing the end under one of the screws holding on my trailer plug and left the red wire disconnected at that end (since the red wire at the stereo end powers the camera). Then I found a wire under the dash to splice into for the reverse light signal and connected that to my stereo so it knows when the car is in reverse. Now my camera is on all the time in case I want to manually switch to it, but it also shows up automatically on the screen when I reverse. The one downside is that there are white LEDs on the camera that are always one when the camera is powered, and I was afraid of getting in trouble with the police for having white lights on the back of the vehicle during forward motion, so I taped over them with electrical tape to block them. Now I don't have the extra light at night, but that hasn't really been an issue for me so far.It would probably have been nice if the camera end of the main cable had a regular RCA connector in case you want to swap out the camera, but you could cut the plug off and connect your own if you ever really needed to. I do like that the cable includes that extra wire besides the video feed. I would probably have had to run a separate power cable otherwise.Like I said, for $20, I'm very happy with this. I think some things could be improved, but it's a good little camera to add some nicety to an older vehicle.

Good product!
I installed this product for my son's vehicle before he left to college. There are quite a few positives about this product, for example, the video is very clear and crispy such as colors, objects behind vehicle, etc. I pay someone to install it and the person said it was very easy. It seems to be sturdy and I love the lights for night vision and they make a difference when camera in use. There is however one negative about the camera and it is not the functionality, but the design. The arm which connects the camera to the base is extremely short and I was not able to see the rear bumper when backing up and you will have to install it without the license plate base. Consequently I had to install it above the license plate base in order to be able to make adjustment to the camera and have a clear view of the rear bumper. I would have giving it a 4.5 star but because I am not allow to do that I will round it up to the next number and give it a 5 star. I am satisfy with the purchase and I hope it will function for a few years. I will get pictures of the camera from my son at a later time and upload them so you can appreciate what I am describing.

UPDATE: Quality picture with easy install. Time will tell
This camera was very easy to install on my truck and at first I really was amazed by the camera quality. 2 months went by and now the picture quality is horrible. The camera lens is not physically scratched or fogged up (I regularly clean it with a lens cloth) but now the picture quality is just awful and blurry. I can still make out objects but they are not sharp in any way. But you get what you pay for I suppose! I recommend buying a higher quality product.UPDATE:Their customer service department reached out to me and sent a replacement upgraded version. I don’t believe it is the same version as this one because it covers the top of the license plate and this one does not. Regardless, the camera quality is much better and the camera feels more sturdy. I do like this new one more and will try to update my review in a couple months to see if the image quality digressed again.

Great Image quality day and night.
I bought this camera for my DD's new old car. It has limited rear visibility when backing up, so I paired this with a Jensen double DIN head unit with Apple car play. Multiple problems solved (no texting and driving, navigation, and a backup camera). The install for this camera was fairly easy, as long as you are comfortable removing interior panels from your car to run the wires to the front head unit or monitor. You also need to wire this to power from your car's reverse light. The wires are thin enough to fish through tight spaces. I had plenty of extra length on the video wire in my DD's small two door coupe, but even if I were to install this in my wife's SUV, the wire length would certainly be sufficient. This camera has back up lines that you can disable by cutting a small (clearly marked) wire. I chose to leave the backup guide lines on. This camera has been a great safety addition for a new driver. I love the clarity of the camera in both daylight and low level lighting conditions. The camera has it's own built in LED's to provide supplemental illumination.

Works as advertised
works as advertised, I wish you could turn the LED lights on and off instead of always on when you power it up but seems to be a good little camera and they included a 24 foot cable.
