Contents of DVD are NOT whats advertised. Panteao Productions has a Production Problem!
Dear Panteao Productions, You need to review/repair your DVD manufacturing system. While the DVD Cover and DVD label on the DVD showed Combat Lifesaving the actual content of the DVD was a different presentation. You need to recall all your DVD's with Doc Spear Combat Lifesaving and run another production run. It's too bad because I thought that this has the potential to be an informative and important DVD.I would only purchase this item, if and when, Panteao Productions indicates a 2nd version or Updated Copy of this DVD.Amazon was very helpful in returning this item... Thank You Amazon!

Wrong video
Wrong video was burned onto the DVD. Read the other reviews and figured the problem must have been resolved by now. Nope.

Yet more Combat Patrol
Like others, I received a properly marked product (DVD and case), but the content on the DVD is "Combat Patrol." This issue has been going on for a while. Is nobody minding the store?

Good, but slow.
Not sure what I was expecting, but this video was full of good information, just a little painful to watch. I really wanted this as an instructional for less interested family and friends, then run through the hands on with them after watching. It's just not set up for that. Doc Spears, as always, is brilliant (every word I have ever read of his is like finding a little nugget of gold to stash away). I just couldn't get people to sit through it. What I finally decided is using it module by module (like teaching a class, imagine that!) is the best way to keep it flowing. Thanks DOC!

Do not ignore this review and the MANY like it. I did and got burned
WTF ,,,Do not ignore this review and the MANY like it. I did and got burned. I received the wrong video inside the right box and with it labeled correctly. . This is some serious incompetence on the manufactures part. I mean how do you make a running of this dvd and then completely miss label the whole printing. Will be trying to return or exchange.

Garbage.
Much like other reviews, the DVD inside was NOT the DVD I ordered.

May be too academic for some
May be over the heads of some individuals without some background in trauma care (paramedics, EMTs, ER nurses and doctors, military medics, etc.) Some of the reviews on here were saying "he talks too much" or whatever, well, what he is saying is good information if you can turn off your ADHD for two seconds. This really is not a layman's guide to this stuff. Dr. Spears was an 18D medic and is currently an orthopedic surgeon, so you have to understand his background to realize his approach. He has a VERY BROAD understanding of what he is talking about. I have a background in critical care and ER nursing both; I learned quite a bit from this video that I didn't already know. If you're looking for a fluff piece on applying a tourniquet and slapping on an Israeli bandage, this video is not for you. I thought his visual aides regarding blood loss and what an arterial bleed looks like were excellent (warning: may not be appropriate for all viewers! ;o) I thought it was worth the money for sure; multiple good takeaways.

Good start to Tactical Medical Training
I thought this was a good primer to taking a Tactical Medical Class. It provided the mindset and some information that helped me with the TCCC course that I attended. It also helped with understanding what my limitations were as a citizen being training in tactical medical procedures.Doc Spears explains things very simply. You will not become a medic by watching this DVD, but it will give you an idea of what to expect when going to a class. I was very pleased with all of the Panteao Productions. The only thing that kept me from 5 stars was with the sound quality toward the end and the way the scenario at the end was filmed. Good addition to your self defense library.

Poor Quality Assurance
I really wanted to hear what Do Spears had to say as I'm putting together my own (neophyte) IFAK. I received EAG Patrol Rifle with Pat Rogers and while I already have one of Pat's DVDs from Panteao, it was not what I ordered, nor what I wanted. As soon as I identified the product received as faulty, I requested a correct version be sent to me and the original was returned.I just got the second DVD and it (replacement DVD) arrived quickly. Unfortunately, the same problem existed: correct printing with Doc Spears on the packaging and on the DVD as well, yet Pat Roger's EAG Patrol Rifle came up when the DVD was inserted. Unlike Dustin, I love Panteao's training offerings as almost everything I have ordered is professionally done and very informative.Since this is the second time this has occurred, I am giving the offering a "1-Star" rating. However, this rating is not on the content of the DVD, it is on Panteao's poor quality assurance procedures that would allow this issue to occur in the first place. Since Amazon has such an incredibly good customer service reputation, I am hoping this embarrassment will spur its own QA staff to address this poor performance with Panteao. I will continue to order and return the Doc Spears DVD until both of you get this irritant corrected. Will the real Doc Spears please stand up!??!?!?

Nice video, good information
Great video, although a little dry. It presented real world tactical medicine in an easy to understand format. It is a good place to start if you are new to TCCC and a decent refresher if you are already familiar with it.
