Does exactly as expected. It's nice to be able to check your soil at home, without having to take samples and send somewhere. Great for my hydrangeas to see if their colors will change and other acidic soil loving plants. Very easy to use. Does not come with batteries, So pick some AAA up when you order this. It also tests soil temperature and wetness. This Is an awesome find!

Wow, this soil meter is awesome! It checks moisture, pH, sunlight, and temperature—all in one gadget—and it’s surprisingly accurate. The digital screen is super bright and easy to read, even in full daylight. It’s light to carry, feels solid, and works great in both my garden beds and plant pots. I love how it takes all the guesswork out of watering and soil care. My plants have honestly never looked better! If you enjoy gardening, you need this tool—it makes growing healthy, vibrant plants so much easier and way more fun.

Simple, easy to use, wish they would either allow you to adjust the screen so you can actually read it, i would just take a picture of it to read it. Also. I wish the settings would stay, instead of having to switch from C⁰ to F⁰ every use or if I switch from reading temp to pH and back. None of that is a deal breaker. It does what I need. Simple to use. Just minor design feature dislikes

This soil meter works great and gives quick, accurate readings for moisture, pH, sunlight, and temperature. It’s simple to use and really helpful for keeping my plants healthy. A great tool for any gardener! My mother loves it.

I really like this relatively inexpensive soil tester. It's simple and easy to operate, with provided product manual. 15-degree tilt design helps to read the data easily. Shows basic features like temperature, sun exposure, soil water content and pH value. This is the onty tester i have so cannot compare to others to check accuracy of measurements, but from what i see during numerous tests around my house on sunny and shade areas, all including 5 levels soil moisture levels are pretty accurate , which sure helps growing seeded grass and recently planted arboviataes. This has been working pretty good for both my indoor and outdoor plants. The soil moisture and pH measurements are relatively accurate and certainly better than my old meter. Quality is good too and the metal rod feels durable in penetrating the soils.

worked as advertised but broke down internally after a year. Wasn't used that much and was kept clean and in original box when stored.

My wife bought a potted tomato plant to have on our deck. For the first week, it seemed to look very nice. After that, it looked like it was wilting a bit and turning yellowish. You can see that in my photo. So, thinking I did something wrong, since I'm in charge of it, I ordered this cool little soil tester. It checks the PH, soil temperature, the moisture of the soil and the intensity of the light. There are only two buttons on the whole device so it is both easy to learn how to operate it and to actually operate it. As soon as I stuck the soil tester into the dirt, I got a very fast reading of the soil my tomato plant is in. I also like that it doesn't weigh a lot but feels very sturdy and is heavier than I was expecting. I'm hoping this relates to the build quality. I reinserted the probe several times to see if the readings would change substantially, which they didn't. It gave consistent readings each time. Also, no matter where I stuck the probe in the soil, it stayed in place nicely. This is an easy 5 Star product from IRTOV. I wish it was a little less in price, but hey, you get what you pay for and this is a great bargain.

Fantastisch product. Had het al veel eerder moeten aangekocht hebben, zeker voor de pH meting en vocht meting van de potgrond van mijn potplanten. Ik heb namelijk veel potplanten en met dit product weet ik heel snel of ik moet bevochtigen of niet, want elke plant is anders! En ik weet ook hoe het is gesteld met de zuurte van de bodem: ook heel belangrijk voor sommige planten.
