I bought this product because of the reviews and I will be honest I have not seen the Nats being caught on the product and they’re still flying around and it bugs me to death. It’s been one day so I will give it some more time.

They work very well. The lower rating is due to the fact that I couldn't find refills anywhere, not even on the actual product website. I had to order more units just to get refills.

A total waste of money. I’ve had it up for over a week with only one bug on the trap.

This has been plugged into my kitchen to catch fruit flys I have 2 plugged in for weeks and nothing. The old fly strips that you hang have worked after I had to put them up since this did not work

These Flying Insect Plug-in Fly Traps Indoor with Digital Clock worked pretty good. Set up was simple and it looks nice in any room. The UV light attracts the insects and the sticky back will trap them. Cleaning it was pretty easy and there was no unwanted noises.

I've waited a while to write this review so I could give this critter catcher the benefit of the doubt and keep trying to get it to work. And it really doesn't. I had some fruit flies in 2 areas of my house - in a pantry near the dog food, and by the corner of our kitchen where fresh fruit and veggies are kept. There weren't a ton of flies in either area, but enough I noticed them. I tried this device first in the kitchen. The blue light is REALLY bright. At night, it lights up the kitchen even from under the top cabinetry. It's easy to plug in, set, and insert the sticky piece. After about 2 weeks, there was not a single little critter stuck to the back of it. Not one. After a month, there were 2 tiny fruit flies is all. This definitely is not the remedy to what I was looking for. Near the dog food - this is a cooler area and generally dark most of the time. But the result was the same - not a single fly stuck to the back of this device.

*Update: moved this to another room in the house and it still just doesn't work at all. Doesn't attract the flies and certainly doesn't trap them. Well I've had this plugged in my kitchen for about 2 weeks and not caught a single fly although we definitely get flies in the house. This doesn't seem to even attract them at all. I have moved it to a different room for now to see if it might help but so far this just plain doesn't work.
