Dove Light to Medium Self Tan Lotion 1 Gradual Tan Lotion For Sun-Kissed Skin Tanning Lotion For All Skin Types 200 ml

I have pale and sensitive skin. I bought the" medium to dark " tube, as that is what I normally buy from Garnier. I don't look to get a dark tan, and with the Garnier one it takes a while to develop. I usually do the following; Squeeze a big dollop if regular moisturiser and then squeeze a similar size dollop of tanning cream, so half & half. I have been doing this for many years as the earlier products could lead to streaking, and this method makes it even, no streaks, but takes a few days to get the light to medium tan I am looking for. Results/ coverage: So...I did the same with this Dove " medium to dark" tanning cream, half & half with regular moisturiser, and wow! The very next day delivery had what I would call my maximum level of tan, nice and even but full blast, even though I had diluted it with regular moisturiser. I would imagine if you did it again the next day I would be very dark brown, which I didn't do as for my complexion that would be daft. Colour: It is a nice brown tan, not orange or yellow, and works very fast . I have had 2 showers since, and only added regular untanning normal moisturiser and it hasn't faded yet. If I used it neat or did again the next day I think it would go from golden tan to rich dark tan which would really suit a lot of people, just not me. If you have a fair complexion like me, that s is a really good colour, without yellow or orange, but a very fast and even result. I would recommend doing half & half and if you decide you want to go darker simply do it again the next day. Just make sure you scrub your skin that is to be tanned before applying, I just use a facial scrub gel all over, rinse dry and then after the shower I apply my half & half. No streaks, no patches, no dark bits on the knees or elbows. I go a little lighter on my face as that sees the sun anyway, so do 1 part tanning can e to 2 parts of my normal face cream. For the rest of me I use 1 part tanning cream and 1 part Normal body moisturiser. Sensitive skin: Also, I have had no issues with irritation, that I get from some products. Greasy/ oily residue: No. It isn't oily, which some tanning lotions are, some leave you with an oily or sticky film the next day, this didn't. Scent: with my method of half and half there is very little scent, but what is there is a nice nutty hint not that chemical almost tobacco scent some have. Overall I am really pleased. As I seem to only need one coat of half & half this tube will last a long time.

I have been using self-tan in one form or another since I was 14 and I’m now 33. This is hands down my best go-to tanning product for a number of reasons. ▪️The scent is nice and mild. It has no ‘biscuity’ smell to it. ▪️It doesn’t stain the bed sheets. ▪️It moisturises at the same time so is an effective 2 in 1 product. ▪️The price point is good. ▪️Easy to apply and as long as you can see that you have covered all your skin in the moisturiser, it is completely streak free. ▪️It has a lovely natural golden colour which you can build on if you so wish. ▪️It dries nice and quickly so when it’s cold, you don’t have to stand around for long before you can get dressed. ▪️It fades away nice and evenly so there is no tiger bread skin 😂 Last but by no means least, it actually makes my legs change colour!! Most regular self tanners know that often, your legs don’t go as dark as the rest of your body but with this tan, my legs look the same colour as the rest of me 🥳! I have very fair skin and I use the medium to dark which is still very natural on me. When I go abroad, I will not be without this. I don’t tan naturally and in all honesty, I am not into lying in the sun, but after two weeks in the sun, it’s a little embarrassing to still be as white as when I stepped off the plane. So every other evening, I gently exfoliate before applying another coat which dries even more quickly with the heat and within minutes, I’m ready to get dressed and do my face and hair for a nice evening out and all the while, my tan is developing nicely ready for the next day!

I am pale with dark blonde hair - I do tan but am also prone to burning. This product helps me through summer and I would be lost without it. Easy to apply (use a mit), long lasting and no smell. Best gradual tan you can buy. I usually apply before bed and wake with a lovely colour which will take showering without effecting the colour. 10/10

Wow I am totally impressed with this self tan cream. I normally get sunburn in the sun & never go brown or even light tan colour. I applied this last night with a tanning mitt. It’s goes on evenly using that & you don’t get horrible over tan between your fingers. I woke this morning to a lovely light colour tan , & it smells amazing. ( no biscuits smell ) My skin feels hydrated & so smooth , I highly recommend this Dove self tan cream. It doesn’t leave sheets or clothing stained either. Just a healthy looking tan . I’m going to stick with this & buying more today so I never go without it. & to top it it’s under £5 today on Amazon deals, give I highly recommend you try it for a self safe tan. I did exfoliate before I used this & washed of any daily dirt before use.

I brought this as I’m very pale and used it years ago to give a little glow to my skin before and during the summer months. The one I used previously was in different (I’m assuming old?) packaging. It did exactly what I said on the tin and was lovely. Now, this smells lovely and is very moisturising but after 2 days prepping my skin (exfoliating, normal deep moisturiser, shaving) I applied this on day 3 after following the routine I stated above but sadly when I woke up I was still streaky in very obvious places. I had almost racing stripes down the front of my legs and down one of my arms. The colour however was lovely, this formula seems darker than the older one but lovely all the same. I used it on my face and with no bad reaction and looked lovely. I will keep the tube and attempt it applying with a tanning mitt maybe? I used my bare hands before and i being knew to proper fake tanning I don’t know if that’s why I was left a bit streaky. It’s worth the money if you can apply it well or maybe over a base tan but being white as an A4 piece of paper it was hard to hide my streaks.

Subtle results in 2/3 days. Great but not good for oily skin! very natural looking not too dark. I'm white as a ghost naturally. Only thing is it's stained my ankles a little but no one will see so it's fine

Lovely tanning moisturiser. Easy to apply, gives a light tan and is has a pleasant scent. Will definitely be buying this again.
