I’ve owned several kitchen scales and this Brod & Taylor scale is the best! I like the large digital read out and the sleek compact design that is small enough to fit in a drawer, and big enough to hold a large mixing bowl.

Bought to replace a long standing Salter kitchen scale which gave up the finally stopped working after many years of good service. This seems to be a quality product. Easy to clean surface. Turns on quickly. Readings are responsive and consistant, but not able to test accuracy. Perfect for home bread making. I am really happy with the product. One thing people have said, they are very easy to turn off, I can see that it would be easy to inadvertently turn them off. (my Salter scales had a button on the side, and when trying to turn those of, I would ofter end up pushing the scales across the worktop). Also they take normal batteries, not button ones, which is a plus. When the supplied ones do run out, I will try rechargeable batteries. All the remains to be seen is how long will they work, only time will tell.

This is the scale to buy! I bought it last year when I started my sourdough journey and use it daily. Very easy to switch between grams, kg, oz, lb etc. Tare button. Easy to wipe down. Slim design so it’s easy to store. Well worth the $!
