Me and my wife are Canadian snowbirds that escape winter to our 2nd home in the Philippines during the bitter cold winter in Alberta, Canada. I purchased the 220V/110V 2200 Watts step down transformer 3 weeks before we travel to the Philippines from Canada where the utility power supply is 220V AC. I paid more $200 plus Canadian on this transformer and it also weighs around 8 kilos that will add to our checked in luggage. So I was a little worried if the transformer will work with the Canadian appliances I will be bringing our home in the Philippines. I did relied and trusted the positive reviews from people who previously purchased similar transformer transformer model. I was relieved of my worries after we reach our home in the Philippines and tested the transformer with my brand new 120V Keurig coffee maker machine as well as my Instant Pot electric multi cooker. I am a very happy buyer and looking forward to enjoy using our Canadian appliances we brought in the Philippines for the duration of our winter escape in the Philippines until we return back to Canada in the spring time. I will recommend this transformer to our friends who wants to bring Canadian or North Americans small appliances to the Philippines. Will update my 5 star review in the spring time after we return to Canada.

Hey everyone, I was hesitant to buy this product, but I got it since I planned to stay in Turkey for a while. This is my experience, and maybe you will find my review helpful. First, this product is heavy okay, just like everyone said. It is small but heavy, and when you are traveling - my concern was whether or not I could take this in my carry-on, or does it need to be in the checked baggage." Answer to this question, it depends on the airline, so it's best if you call them. I took this device as a checked luggage but on a 24-inch carryon bag and added a bunch of sweaters to protect it. It weighs 17 pounds and for me, it's too heavy to lift onto the overhead cabin spot, and in my situation, I needed to be mindful of my weight limit. In my opinion, you cannot carry this in your backpack unless you can lift and walk for long periods of time in these huge international airports (just saying). Secondly, I particularly bought this to use my air fryer. I don't have a fancy air fryer, but just to give you an idea, I have the Bella Pro Series 2 qt. with 1200 watts. I got the Step Down Voltage Converter (2400 watts). The air fryer only pulled about 796 to 800 watts, I thought it would pull more, but it doesn't, so okay. I did end up using both the air fryer and my egg cooker at the same time but, the egg cooker was only 350 watts. I also used my waffle maker with no problem. If you have an expresso machine or any other type of kitchen appliance you would like to take with you on your travels, look at the wattage and how many volts the country you are in uses: I hope that makes sense. Besides that, the product is sleek and looks nice in my kitchen. It's not bulky, and it's super easy to use. A bit pricey, but hey - it works for what I need it to do.

I'm sure it would've been great, but it was very large and I thought it was travel size but this product weighs almost 20 pounds

It is too heavy for travel by airline, because of weight limits, and expensive too, depends upon your usage and your requirements All over its great product
