HP 802 Small Black Original Ink Cartridge

I once had purchased this item from another seller, who didn't mention that the item was empty cartridge in their ad and I ended up buying this item only to find out that the cartridge was empty. So whenever you display this item in your ad, please mention this in block letters: "THIS IS NOT AN EMPTY CARTRIDGE, IT CONTAINS INK". Thank you!!!

The print quality is excellent! It provides rich and vibrant colours and prints very well. It is compatible and works well with my HP Deskjet 1050 printer. However, it is very expensive for what it is, and it's ink capacity is too small for the price. If you don't print that often, this is highly recommended, but if you do print often, just get an ink tank printer, as it is better in the long run. Otherwise, it's a good product!

I purchased the HP 802 Cartridge, Twin Pack (Black) from Amazon in the month of August 2016 for my personal use. The first cartridge worked well and exhausted only yesterday i.e. on 6th December 2016 as I had to do quite a less volume of printing work. .Now I replaced the Empty (First one) cartridge with the second sealed one after removing its original packing and was shocked to observe that though the printer recognized the Cartridge as original HP product but the same was not printing at all even after doing all the exercises prescribed by the HP printer for its alignment, head cleaning etc etc. I was aghast and felt CHEATED both by Amazon and HP who advertise so much about originality and quality of their product widely that we blindly fall into their marketing trap. Any way that can also be understood as the compulsion of the trade, but you can not back track from accepting your responsibility of replacing the defective product sold as original and quality product, whatever your policy may be ? Even if by mistake on the part of manufacturer a defective product has been sold, its the responsibility of the seller and manufacturer to withdraw and replace it. One must understand that No one is going to use both the cartridges at the same time and not even going to unpack both for testing their functionality., immediately after receiving the same through courier.. Amazon says, window for replacement has been closed in August itself and I am at a loss to understand how to reach HP. I am even unable to find out the contact phone number to talk to customer care executive of Amazon ? I have bought several products from Amazon but such a treatment shatters my faith in online purchases including Amazon.. I am keeping the original packing with me with all the serial Nos. This HP product is a make of Malaysia and its expiry is in 2017. I will keep on representing against Amazon and HP through Social Media too (with more facts and pictures), not only because I have suffered a monetary loss but because these Multi National Giants must live up to their assurances and promises made to the Customers. They should not forget that they are getting huge business only because of the trust of the customers and they should neither be overlooked nor deceived.

Not at all economical. I've only printed about 10 to 15 pages max and the ink level is already almost half! HP does rip you off with their cartridge sales.

Just scanned the barcode and it landed me to the HP Official verification page. Meaning - It's genuine!! Believe me it's lasting longer than the original HP ones I buy from market. Both are same. But it's not my assumption. No of pages printed and the content in the pages exceeded the ones before. So I will continue to buy this from this seller and Amazon only henceforth. Comes with proper seal. And it's refillable once, I used to refill once in a local shop. After that 2nd refill it will leak and spoil the cartridge tray. So use once, refill once, throw and buy a new one.

This cartridge works as it suppose to do. The price is cheaper than retail although the cartridge capacity is small, as large capacity is currently unavailable. It works well on my old Hp 1510 printer. And the prints are crisp. Note any alignment issue or print break is not the fault of the ink cartridge but rather its the fault of the unmaintained printer. As every printer needs to go under service every 1.5-2 years, duration for proper functioning and long lasting.
