Pairs simply and beautifully with my 2024 LG 43UT75 LED TV
Works beautifully with my new LG 43UT75 (LED). Like others, I was disappointed that I had to pay $50 to buy this remote separately from the TV because I missed the fine print that the TV came with a “standard remote.” Effectively, this increased the price of my TV by $50. Had I noticed that, I would have paid more for the 2025 QNED version that comes with the magic remote. Water under the bridge now. I learned to be a smarter shopper. Onward, I love this remote! I did not have to do anything to pair it with the TV. I inserted the batteries, hit the “power on” button, and the TV automatically recognised the new remote. This is my third magic remote for five LG TVs and I really love it, functionally and ergonomically. Grateful to Amazon for carrying it! LG is sold out.

Compatible with 2021g1 that came with mr21n
It is LG, not knockoff. Our original LG stopped responding to up and down without pushing very hard after a few years of use. Then the knockoff we replaced it with initially worked ok but then started jumping all over the place and selecting random items when pushing the scroll wheel, so I didn’t want to get another knockoff. I can confirm that even though this is the 2024 remote (mr24n) it is compatible with my 2021 g1 tv (came with mr21n), it paired perfectly and works as expected.

LG OG product. Satisfied with purchase It was the one I needed to be able to control my TV at ease. The one that originally brought was one of the basics and is terrible. But with this things have changed

Do you really use voice control?
We got this so that we could use the voice control. Turns out we don’t use the voice control that much. This remote has a weird option to point and click instead of scrolling through menus. In theory, a great idea. In practice, sort of a pain. That said it works fine and does what it’s supposed to do

Worked for the TV, but I could not get it to pair with an LG Soundbar

Made for 2024 TVs - Make sure You buy the correct one
So I had bought an LG TV for my Mom, and hoped for a simple remote. The remote that came with the TV would not control her cable box, so I opted to upgrade to a Magic remote. Amazon sells tons of them, but they don't all work with certain TVs. You need to get the correct remote for the year your TV was manufactured. This one is manufactured for the 2024 models, and you can see the '24' in the model number for this remote. Once I had the correct remote, it was pretty seamless. She can now utilize a single remote to control her TV, Smart Functions, and Cable box.

works great
Make sure you have the right remote for your LG tv. there is another version that looks similar but is for the previous year (2023)manufactured tv. This one works as it should and gives a cursor function and voice control to your TV. The battery life is great and it is a little heavier than the original remote.

It's Magic!!!
My new LG 65 inch Web OS TV did not come with a magic remote. I ordered this and now I have a Magic Remote! No need for buttons, easy to set up and has voice recognition functionality. Should have been the box with my new TV.
