Essential Office 365 Second Edition: The Illustrated Guide to using Microsoft Office (Computer Essentials) Paperback – 1 Jun. 2017

I had used office before with very early editions. I was forced into using 365 as my old versionwas not compatible with windows 10. I was completely bewildered with with it.My first book was a disaster. Itwas more hinderance than help. I decided to have one more goand bought this book. It was a revelation, It took you the component parts of 365 highlightingthe essentials of the component. No book can teach you the whole of 365 completely. 365is all things to all people,but this book gave me confidence to delve into the aspects I needed, and learn from there. It is a long learning curve and I am still only a short distence along it, but this book prevented me from abandoning it completely

This is a clear well laid out book. there are plenty of diagrams to support the information being givenThe book is divided into chapters. The first couple are generalisations about Office 365 then it is in sections each one devoted to one of the component programs which makes finding your information a piece of cakeThere is also a fairly comprehensive index at the rear of the book. I would have preferred an index in program order, but perhaps I'm being too demanding

Nothing to dislike. Not a quick read but all pertinent info is there to deal with any question you may have

Very useful tool to support learning

I am learning ICT at Link Into Learning and this book is very useful as it covers most of what I am learning, which is brilliant

Easy to follow even for a technophobe

Too much glorification of Microsoft, superficial description of some of the controls - useless and disappointing.
