This was something I really didn’t expect to be made nearly as well as it is made. This thing is solid, sturdy, easy to adjust torque, perfect grip in hand, and holds all the bits good. Couldn’t have asked for a better lower pressure toque wrench. Have already used it on several scopes and mounting hardware.

This works great if you don't need to do anything over 50 inch lbs. Anything over is very difficult because there is no good way to grip this. It has a super smooth finish and if your hands start to sweat it's game over. The case is nice and everything else is nice, just very difficult for high torque stuff.

Just like you, I didn’t want to pay this much for a “fancy screwdriver” but I have gotten to the point where I’d rather buy once, cry once than deal with junk. That doesn’t mean I’m not looking for a good deal. This thing is built solid and sized for man hands. The scale is easy to read and has positive adjustment and a positive release. Pull out on the knurled section and rotate to dial in the torque. Adjust the fastener until the tool just lets go at the specified torque. There will also be an audible click when it releases. So far, very satisfied. I

Needed a torque screwdriver to install a scope on a rifle. Initially futzed around with a standard torque wrench. But they're just not sensitive enough.
