Fantastic value
I switched to the Smarty unlimited 1 month plan, and the value for money is unbeatable. For a low monthly price with no contract, you get genuinely unlimited data with the freedom to cancel or pause anytime. The quality of service has been reliable, and setup through the app was effortless. As for download speed, I've been consistently impressed streaming and browsing are seamless, and being on Three's 5G network means I often get speeds fast enough to replace home broadband .

Pay attention to the router and its setup
Good support in setup. Pay attention to the router as it impacts speed. I also purchased TPlink TL-MR100 which does not perform band aggregation which reduces data speed. Best result was setting 4G only, and setting the Band to 1.

Works well. Uses the 3 network
Works well. Uses the 3 network. However, their terms and conditions contain just as much malarky as any.

Beware: Not Truly Unlimited
I’ve had to rely on this for two months so far much to my misfortune and no thanks to Virgin Media. For starters, the signal strength is pretty crap; do NOT rely on those sites that supposedly tell you how good a brand’s signal is in your area - I have found every single one to be unreliable. Not only that, but Smarty is technically Three, a company that has much fewer masts than others and therefore much less coverage. Now onto the worst part. The “unlimited” is a load of crap. Both months I’ve used it, it’s started off decent enough, but both times near about several days off from the sub ending the quality drops off drastically. To me that means that there are caps in place whether by speed or GBs, I don’t know. Something definitely runs out before the sub runs out which is simply not good enough for something that claims to be unlimited. As a whole and as a rule at this point, I won’t ever be going for any products that use Three; I had gotten a 200gb data sim for my phone at one point but the signal was so bloody bad I had to cancel it outright as I wasn’t even getting voicemails until days after they were sent. Three are very evidently as scammy and scummy as Virgin Media.

Much faster than landline at almost half the monthly payment
I was fed up with my slow fibre internet; Our conection has always been under 27mbs down and less than 4 upload but at the weekend it dropped to 7mbs down and 256 kb upload, that was the final straw. I bought a router that would take a sim card and decided to go withSmarty as you pay monthly with no contract, £20 per month until you cancel. I have not been disappointed as I can now get 50 mbps download and 22 mbps upload on 4G. BT hyave now fixed the line but I. still have only 21mbps on the landline. As soon as the contract.is up, I shall cancel landline.
