Good quality tool well made good value for money

Not the best quality, but it helped me to find the issue and I was able to fix the ethernet cable problem

Bought as a backup as my others have stated to not cut the cables through [hit and miss] on first try these didn't cut through 100% 2nd try was better so will update review after used for long periods

Very poor quality comnnectors, but otherwise ok. Had to go and buy some better quality ones to complete the job.

The crimping tool is excellent, the end connectors are a bit different and tricky at first to get the wires in correctly, but once you work it out it scrimps securely and didn’t have any failures.

This is not a cheap product so I was expecting a bit more from it. Firstly the wire cutter struggles to cut pure copper cat5e strands. This shouldn’t be the case. The wire cutter has no facility to measure the correct wire length to fit exactly into the crystal case. The wire stripper doesn’t work on standard unscreened cat5e cable. Why not? Apart from the above, it comes in a nice case, it was supplied with a separate wire stripper which works really well. The tester isn’t anything special but it does the job. In summary, it does what it says it should, it’s just not anything special. I think I’ll be looking for a future purchase to improve on this tools lacklustre performance. Update 9th Feb 2025 Been having a nightmare job trying to get connections made using this tool. It appears that the plugs once crimped do not make contact to the socket pins in either the supplied tester or a standard netgear switch socket. I’ve dismantled several failed plugs and found it was possible to, by hand, pull out several wires. Whereas a properly crimped plug I hand to use pliers and the wire broke before the crimp joint failed.

La pinza è arrivata puntuale, come sempre accade con le spedizioni Amazon. Si è rivelata molto valida durante la sostituzione del cavo di rete principale tra router e computer. L'idea mi è venuta perchè ho cambiato operatore dopo l’ennesimo aumento unilaterale: il nuovo, noto per il prezzo fisso, offre un costo decisamente inferiore e un modem con porta a 2,5 Gb anziché 1 Gb dell’operatore precedente. per cui mi sono detto di provare un cavo adeguato a tale velocità Pur non essendo un modello professionale, la pinza garantisce una buona precisione nella crimpatura. L’impugnatura è comoda e la struttura trasmette una sensazione di solidità. Anche i connettori inclusi, sebbene di qualità sufficiente, svolgono egregiamente il loro compito. Come si vede dalla foto, con un cavo Cat 6A acquistato sempre su Amazon ho raggiunto la velocità massima. Un risultato notevole, soprattutto considerando che ora pago un terzo in meno e non dovrei subire ulteriori aumenti decisi unilateralmente e con l'aiuto di Amazon sono riuscito a fare un cavo della misura che mi serviva (circa 13 mt.) senza avere spezzoni di cavi inutili senza perdita di segnale. Segno che schermatura e conduzione sono più che adeguate. Gli altri accessori presenti nel kit sono essenziali e molto utili, in particolare il tester, che mi ha permesso di capire cosa non avesse funzionato nella prima prova. Ed anche la pinza che fa bene il suo lavoro. In sintesi, difficilmente si trova di meglio a questo prezzo ma non è un oggetto professionale per cui basta e avanza per la propria rete e qualcosa in più ma non credo possa sostenere un uso professionale. Nota bene: ho seguito le istruzioni del manuale in italiano relative allo standard T568B. Inserire tutti e otto i fili contemporaneamente mi è sembrato praticamente impossibile credo ci voglia tanta ma tanta pratica; consiglio quindi di spellare generosamente il cavo e inserire i fili uno alla volta nei terminali. Funziona perfettamente.

Je n'ai rien a dire quant aux fonctionnements de cette pince et de ce testeur. C'était mes premiers RJ45 et j'affirme que le testeur est indispensable. C'est du matériel de bonne Qualité que je vous conseille.

Great crimper and connections

車庫が金属製の為、Wifiが届かないので家からLANケーブルを配線し使用しました。 圧着工具もチェッカーも普通に使える。 また、付属のニッパーが薄刃で切れ味が良くて驚いた。
