Game changer. I have long hair. I love this. Saves time and energy. I sit criss cross applesauce on my bed and curl my hair quick and easy while doing other stuff. I don’t even need a mirror. I can set it down on the bed it’s warm but not hot. A kid could easily use this. The moment it feels any type of tension with the hair it stops winding and starts beeping and it’s easy to take your hair back out. I have never had a problem with my hair getting stuck. I wash and condition my hair and let it air dry. Then I curl it with no product and the curls last all week if I want them to. Lil dry shampoo and good to go. I brush out my hair everyday and the curls are still bouncy literally seven days later. I use no other products at all other than dry shampoo a day or two after curling if I don’t wash my hair. I love this thing. The photos are several days after curling and after multiple brushes.

I have very thick, slightly wavy hair (see before and after pictures) and the CHI Spin N Curl makes styling so much faster and easier compared to traditional curling irons. The curls come out smooth and consistent, and it heats up quickly. Ive been using it for years and each time I’ve had another baby it has helped me get out of my slump of just wearing my hair up — I actually enjoy doing my hair again! The only thing is you need to figure out the right hair section size to avoid tangles, but once you get it, it’s a game-changer.

I really like this chi spin N curl. It's good quality so easy to use. It makes my hair look shiny & look and feel soft. It works well and doesn't take me near as long to curl my hair as with a normal curling iron. The button placement is perfect when you're holding it if your hair gets caught, you just push the bottom button for a second and it releases your hair. This is my second one because I left my first one at My Daughter's and they liked it so I let them keep it.

I recently decided to attempt to learn to curl my hair. I have naturally think and wavy hair, but wanted more definite in my curls. I bought several different types of curling irons, and this one has been the winner for me! I purchased a used one and have no issues with the quality of the machine, heat level, or packaging. So far I have tried 400f temp with a 17s hold. The 17s seems like a very long time (lol). I will try the 15s next. The curls held well and came out very defined. My hair does have some what of a “heat” smell too it, but that usual anytime I use heated items. The learning curve is pretty easy, I just followed the included directions. However, I did have an issue with the hair becoming tangled often and the iron needing to be reset. I suspect this is somewhat user error and I am using to thick of sections at a time or holding them too “tightly”. It may just be a me thing, but it was annoying. Overall, this curler works well and is easier to use than other options I have tried. The curls held well all day! Compared to a traditional iron, this curler is a clear winner!

I really like this curling iron! It’s very easy to use, especially if you’re not experienced with styling your hair. The rotating feature helps a lot and saves time. It creates nice, soft curls that last for hours without looking too tight or unnatural.

I really, really LOVE this for curing my hair. It is simple to use and saves me a ton of time. I don't curl my hair often and when I used to, my curls didn't last very long. I don't have to worry about that now! I even tried it on my friends very curly hair and it worked so amazingly that she is buying one now too! The pictures above are on the lowest setting for both of our hair, I wanted a beach wave so I brushed the curls out and the picture was taken wearing my hair 'wavy curled' at the end of the day. The second picture is my friend who has very curly hair and that is right out of the cylinder. PROS: super simple instructions on how to use it, easily cleaned, saver of time, there are settings to how long you want your hair in and the type of curl you are going for, and my curls last for more than one night! I have LONG natural hair and I used to struggle to curl my hair and it would fall flat within an hour no matter what kind of product I put in my hair. It is so easy to use once you figure out how much of your own hair it can handle (depending on the length). Once you figure out the amount of hair to put it the wand it is a breeze to curl all of your hair. I did get my hair tangled in it a few times and I love that it just beeps and stops rotating, getting your hair untangled is very easy, just make sure to re-brush the hair before you put it back in to be curled because it will make your hair tangly when it gets stuck. I even used this right out of the shower with my hair still wet and it worked great, I just had to set it to the longer timer and my hair came out dry and curled. This is light weight and doesn't stress my wrist or hand. The cylinder allows for right or left curls so you can curl in either direction (this function is also useful to get hair untangled if needed), and again it is a HUGE time saver for me to get all of my hair curled with the same curls all over. CONS: I have very long hair and I had to get the hang of how big of a chunk of hair that I could put into the cylinder, but that isn't the products fault. Just know that if you have longer hair you may have to use smaller pieces to get the type of curl you want. I wish it would come with interchangeable cylinders instead of the one size.

I researched this type of product, evaluating carefully what might be nice, and then bought this one. I want to say, I am TERRIBLE at fixing my own hair. I’ve had the same style for years and just straighten it. I bought this but was very skeptical I could do as nicely as the demo girls. Let’s just say, I am STUNNED! I can fix my hair with this. I now curl it several times a week and my hair gets COMPLIMENTS! Really! I had someone think I’d just left the salon the other day. If you are skeptical too, just buy it! It honestly works! The quality is great and the curls stay!

Thought it would be a UK plug, it's some weird flat plug. The photo's show + sprays but no hair sprays given!!! I couldn't use the curler, soo sad! :(

This is simply amazing. I have thin, straight shoulder-length Asian hair that doesn't hold curls at all (I tried digital perm which was supposed to last between 3 - 6 months but which came undone for me at the end of two months) but with this beauty, heat protection spray and curl spray, I get WONDERFUL curls that still look all crisp and bouncy after two days. There's definitely a learning curve - at first, I tangled my hair a lot while curling it - but it took me only three uses to get the hang of it. I also want to mention that I bought this as a dupe for Dyson Airwrap but with the amazing result and completely hassle-free use, I don't think I'll ever get that $700 bulky styler! I've found that the 15s, 370F option works best for my hair. I haven't noticed any deterioration of my hair quality, but my hair does get a bit dry if I use it on the same sections repeatedly. So, make sure not to use it on hair that's too damp!

I love this product! Before I had this, curling my hair has been such a hassle. I burned my hands with the wand, the curls never held, it took forever and the back was challenging. I have lots of hair and this product works like a charm! It’s so quick, easy and I get compliments. It’s the first time I can do my hair so it looks like I left the salon. Game changer!

I just purchased this product recently, so this is an early review. I really like the curls it produces. However, I think users should beware of the temperature of the unit. I am in my 60s, and have light grey hair, which I have never coloured. At 410 degs heat, the curler has turned the ends of my hair (the bottom 4-5 inches) a light gold colour because it has singed it. There is no removing that gold tint now, because the hair has basically been damaged by the high heat. This would not have happened to darker hair, and may not have discoloured blond hair, but grey and white hair is at risk of turning a strange yellow/gold colour. Now I will have to wait for my hair to grow out before I can cut those damaged parts off.
