Works like a chisel should. I used it to cut retaining wall stones in two. The guard was a most welcome feature. The only bad thing I have to say about this purchase is that it took a week in shipment, even though it left the warehouse almost immediately.

Just what I needed to break up some brinks by hand. Loved the hand guard.

Great little tool, but the edge just isn't narrow enough for the project I needed it for --- removing ceramic floor tiles. It's just too thick to get enough of it under the edge of the tile to make it useful for this particular project, but I'll keep it around for the next one.

After smacking the crap out of my thumb with a hammer as I was chiseling away mortar between bricks, I decided I needed something like this. Works great! Will save my hand in the future.

I would have liked the edge to be a bit sharper. For chiseling off some concrete edges of a cinder block wall it worked well for me.

Keep your hands safe when working.

I've had a lot of fun with this building a stone knee wall. Good on serpentinite and slate so far

Good product for a good price.
