Large Round Volumizing Brush for Dyson Airwrap, Large Round Brush Attachment Compatible with Dyson Airwrap HS08 HS05 HS01 for Fluff Up, Volumize and Styling Hair (Rose)

The original brush had broken so I bought this larger one as a replacement. It’s held up well. My only recommendation is that you store it somewhere that won’t smash the bristles since they’re thin and tend to bend when I store it inside my Dyson travel bag with the other attachments.

AWFUL! DISASTER!! TERRIBLE PIECE OF GARBAGE!!! DO NOT BUY THIS if you have more than 50 strands of hair on your head. The is truly the BIGGEST WASTE OF MONEY I’VE EVER SPENT!!!! . Take $15 cash, light it on fire, watch it burn and know you feel 100 times better than if you bought this brush. The bristles are so flimsy and soft that this won’t penetrate a normal human’s hair. Amazon should take this off their site. Thats how terrible and overpriced this item is. Think about how bad this “brush” must be, when I would waste time writing this over a $15 item. The only thing I can compare the bristles to is they are approximately the width and rigidity of your pet’s fur. If you could brush your hair with pet fur you may actually like this brush. If you’re a normal human, burn $15. Way more useful and satisfying!

Works with my original Dyson airwrap.

I bought this because it was much cheaper than the Dyson version and the reviews said it was of great quality. When comparing it to my smaller round Dyson brush, the bristles on this one are very flimsy and I had a hard time getting my thick hair to grab hold in it. I will be waiting for the Dyson brand to get back in stock.

I too have been wanting the larger round brush attachment for my 2nd gen Airwrap, but they’re always out of stock at Dyson and retailers. Therefore, had to resort to a 3rd party brand alternative like this one. Good news is this does fit the Airwrap fine, but slightly more a hassle to click in and remove. I feel I have to finagle it more than the OEM smaller round brush to remove it, but, silver lining is this brush doesn’t pop off as easily as the OEM one does. I have thick, medium length hair and if I don’t section it small enough when blowing out, the smaller OEM brush can pop off on me with too much tension. This one so far hasn’t done that. Like I said in the title this definitely isn’t an exact OEM dupe does feel slightly cheaper than the smaller Dyson round brush, but it got the blowout done and is significantly cheaper than the Dyson version. I’d say definitely try it out for $16 if you’re wanting a larger round brush for your Airwrap.

I purchased the original large brush Dyson attachment directly from their website. It felt very cheaply made (mostly plastic). I decided to order this dupe. It aesthetically looks better on my airwrap, and it feels of better quality. The brush bristles are similar in firmness in both large brushes, but not as firm compared to the smaller round brush attachment. This brush is less than half the price from the original.
