Camelbak Chute Mag Water Bottle Magnetic Cap

It's a nice sturdy plastic bottle that's easy to carry and refill and drink from. There's not really much else you can really say about it, truly. It's a decent capacity for day to day use, fits in most gym bottle holders and is portable and neutral enough to be carried pretty much anywhere. It has a few leak problems (I think it's more water getting stuck in the threading of the bottle than actual leak problems though) sometimes after refilling but those are minor, at least from my point of view, especially if you tighten it accordingly. I don't see the point of the magnetic function though, honestly. Most of the time it barely sticks to the lid to hold it out of the way, especially if you don't take the time to smooth it down so it is flush against the magnetic surface (that's just added effort I don't care for, really) and so if you don't take the time to do that and you just want to drink, the lid will end up bonking you on the nose while you chug. It's a minor gripe and not really an issue but I figured I'd mention it considering the magnetic stuff is apparently the major gimmick of this bottle. At least you won't lose the lid since it's permanently attached, eh? Altogether though it's a good bottle, hard wearing, heavy duty, thick lid that can be tightened nicely, and the cap is also very secure and not threaded but rather tightened into place which is very good, takes a little bit of getting used to initially but once you suss it it's good, you can achieve the same cap tightness / secureness from a regular threaded cap after some dudebro tightens it as hard as he can with barely any effort on your part with the cap on this bottle and it opens with just as little effort too. I like it, anyway.

Bought this when my old camelbak wore out (the plastic on the lid started oozing) after years. This is as good as the old one, the bottle holds enough water and the spout easy to drink from. This lid doesn't have the flimsy cable holding it on but clips to a magnet to keep it out of the way. This works well, though I have been carrying it away from my laptop to protect the hard drive! Goes in the dishwasher. Does not leak, though sometimes I get a bit of water caught under the thread.

I purchased 2 of these bottles, the 750ml is perfect for the gym / spa & the 600ml bottle I took on a 2 week cruise. It was plenty to drink between refills but not too heavy to carry around like the bigger one. They don’t leak at all & are easy to carry by the handle. Dishwasher friendly. What’s not to love.

Nice bottle with a superb capacity and locking lid - it hasn’t leaked once. The design could be improved by tapering the size towards the base - whilst it’s great for stability, the large circumference means some cup holders are off limits!

OK, so the headline sounds a bit weird, but having gone through a few different bottles in the past, including the Camelbak Eddy and Podium, this is by far the best one I've had for everyday use at home, at work and in the gym. It's the little things that make the difference. Firstly, it is easy to clean. This is why I was looking to replace my Eddy, where the rubber bit was not easy. Then there are the little design features; the magnetic cap, which keeps it from falling into your face; the ergonomic spout, which feels just right when you drink. The size may not be for everyone; personally I like not having to fill up the bottle as often, but then it is bigger and heavier than the 750ml bottle. The measure of success for this bottle? I am trying to increase my water intake over the summer months; today I drank 4 litres of water, without even thinking about it...

This is the best water bottle you could ever find thanks to the brilliant Chute Mag lid system which allows you to drink from the bottle without the lid flopping around. I also like the fact that you can just pop the lid back on and have it magnetically close for frequent sips or twist it completely shut for travel and to avoid leaks. The colour is really nice, too. Ditto the size. This bottle can't be beat for practicality. It's easy to fill, clean and drink from.

I had been using Camelback 1 l the first type of water bottle for a couple of years. In general, that bottle was comfortable enough. But it had some feature which were a bit annoying. I have to say all those annoying feature on previous comeback chute bottle were fixed on Camelback Chute Mag. The cap is no longer wawing beside your nose. It's super easy to attach cap on the magnet. Also, there is no struggle to take off the full cap, or the smaller cap. The drinking neck feels good when you drink from it and the handle is no longer that narrow gap as in the Camelback Chute, where you could put just one your finger, which will be cut off by the handle. Camelback Chute Mag has a proper handle conveniently carry your bottle in the hand. Great improvements from Camelback. In my opinion Camelback Mag is on of the best water bottles for hiking in the market.

I use this as my gym/sports bottle. It is of very high quality, feels rugged and sturdy. I don't feel like this is going to break or puncture any time soon even being lobbed in my bag with a variety of things (rugby boots etc). The twist cap is nice and robust and also features a magnet to hold the cap out of your way whilst you're drinking which is a very neat solution. There was no chemical taste at all, the bottle is of a good size (1 litre) and the bit you drink out of is nice and wide so water flows through nice and easily. 5* product in my opinion
