Fit was good. Stainless so should not rust. Screws are a little longer than necessary, but presented no issues.

I purchased these to put in a set of double doors I was building for my daughter's closet where the latch normally comes out. I put super strong magnets in the cylinder hole that touch this place. that way, when i close the two doors they attract each other and hold the doors closed. It worked very well.

a blank plate were just what I needed to repair holes where an old door latch and striker plate were removed. They worked beautifully very easy to install and a very nice finish on the product.

Still working on a plan on how to use these. No longer have door handle on my door, as the door handle interferes with the furnace, on the other side of it. If I ever get it figured out I'll let you know.
