Opticron 31046 42mm Rubber Objective Lens Covers OG M Pair fits models with Outer Diameter 51-52mm, Black

Good quality and fit for the canon 12x36 binoculars. A piece of foam stuck on the holding loops to keep them in place has worked for me.

Opticron 31024 50mm Rubber Objective Lens Covers. The rings fit easily over the surround of the objective lens, and then sit loosely behind the rim of the lens surround. The caps themselves fit perfectly on the objective lens surround, with sufficient grip to keep them on. The caps are softish rubber with a little bit of flex. The rings obviously stop the cap from getting lost when you take it off the lens. You could always cut the rings off if you prefer not to use them. The binoculars still easily fit inside the Canon case with the lens caps on.

Bought to replace the inadequate ones. , long lost, that came with my Nikon Monarch 8x36. Fitted perfectly, stay on, no problem. Should have bought them years ago.

Not sure Opticron will like this but they may see the irony. These are great but I bought them for my new Leica Ultravid 8 x 20 BR pocket binoculars which were not supplied with objective lens protection. Having looked unsuccessfully for Leica ones, I took a gamble and bought these and they arrived a day earlier than expected even on Good Friday. They fit the Leicas as if they were made for them and will help protect them from dust and debris. Arguably a wee bit expensive for what they are but the protection they will provide is priceless, so, worth it for me. Size was 25mm. 30-31 outer Couldn't be happier

Excellent - perfect fit

I bought these for my Nikon Prostaff 7s 8x30 Binoculars as other people have said the supplied lens covers are rubbish. I measured the outside of my lenses as 44mm, this falls right in between 2 size ranges so I so bought the sizes either side to see which fitted better. When I received the items they both came in branded boxes but are totally different items, the 42-44 mm are Opticron branded on the front and feel good quality, the 44-46mm are unbranded and feel floppy and generally crap quality. I tried them both on my Binoculars, 44-46mm (which are recommended by the seller in an answer above) just about fit but are very loose and liable either slide down the binocular body or just pop off the lens. The 42-44mm are a bit too small really so are a difficult to get on but do offer a very tight friction fit. Due to this they are slightly fiddly to get on and you hear the air audibly escaping when you put them on. I'm going to keep the 42-44mm as they are so tight they shouldn't come off when getting them in and out of the pouch or bag etc, hopefully they'll loosen up in time. The 44-46mm will be getting returned. To summarise BEWARE seller seems to be shipping both branded and unbranded items in branded boxes I'd recommend 42-44mm size for Nikon Prostaff 7s 8x30 Binoculars but this offers a very tight fit, at least in my experience

Il modello 42mm OG XL va bene per il binocolo swarovski habicht 10x40 con diametro esteno 54mm Il prodotto riporta 53/55mm, buon prodotto. Considerando la fattura del binocolo, a tappi aperti facile perderli, io, li ho fissati con del biadesivo. Ho messo il modello del binocolo, penso sia l'informazione fondamentale.

Vor kurzem kaufte ich ein neues Fernglas, das Nikon Prostaff 7s 8x42 mit dem ich mehr als zufrieden bin. Leider werden nur unzureichende Objektivabdeckungen mitgeliefert, die nahe an der Grenze zu "unbrauchbar" sind, da sie schon wenn man das Fernglas einfach nur in die Hand nimmt und es aufrecht hält von alleine abfallen. Die Opticron Objektivabdeckungen dagegen sind wie für das Nikon Fernglas gemacht und passen perfekt. Sie sitzen auch dank der gummierten Arme des Prostaff sehr fest und können sich keinesfalls ohne weiteres von selbst lösen. Somit stellen diese Objektivabdeckungen m. M. n. mit den besten Schutz vor Staub und Verschmutzungen dar, den man für mein Fernglas bekommen kann. Bewahrt man das Glas dann noch in einer seperaten Tasche auf, sollte sich so schnell kein Staub usw. auf den Gläsern finden. Dank der Gummiringe muss man die Abdeckungen nicht gänzlich vom Fernglas trennen und z. B. in die Tasche stecken wenn man es benutzen will, sondern sie hängen einfach am Fernglas herunter, müssen nicht extra verstaut werden und können so nicht verloren gehen. Als ich die Opticron Objektivabdeckungen bestellte lag der Preis noch bei gut 15€. Dass sie nun nach nur 4 Tagen fast 5€ mehr kosten wundert mich und ich bin froh, nicht erst jetzt zu bestellen und mehr bezahlen zu müssen. Ich kann diese Objektivabdeckungen zu 100% empfehlen. Sie scheinen von recht guter Qualität zu sein und bieten einen hervorragenden Schutz. Da sie per Gummiring am Fernglas befestigt werden, können sie nicht verloren gehen. Besser geht nicht. Kaufempfehlung.

Bought these objective lens caps to replace the stock ones for the Zeiss Conquest HD 8x32, they fit perfectly and should last for quite some time. Recommended!

The 48-50 mm size are a perfect fit for my Nikon Prostaff P7 8x30's. The covers didn't have Opticron branding as suggested in the listing, but that suited me. These are a much better solution than the silly lens covers supplied with the P7's which are otherwise fantastic, sharp and bright bino's.
