Unlike most floss cards, these really hold a lot of floss, easily accommodating more than a full skein. I like them for small projects that only have a few colors (9 or less). I cut them in half and attach a ring to the one of floss holes for hanging on my stitching stand. I cover the area between the holes with clear tape, then write the floss symbols/numbers above the holes with an extra fine marker. The tape is easy to remove when my project is complete, leaving the card like new. The best thing about them is that you can remove a single strand of thread from a skein of floss that's half-hitched onto these cards. There's no need to unwind/rewind a bobbin, or mess with stuffing loose threads back into a plastic bag. Just use your needle to pick up and slowly pull one strand out of the rest.They're a bit of a pain if you fill the card, or you need to use multiples. All that floss tends to get a little tangled, and the long card can be unwieldy. This is why I like to cut them smaller. Sadly, most of my projects run anywhere from 40-90 floss colors, making these an occasional use item for me. I use Thread Drops to hang up to 20 floss skeins from a 2-inch binder ring. They're even east to use than these cards.

i crosstitch and use a 3 ring binder to hold my project when traveling. these are perfect. i use the holes on one side to hold the unused floss and the ones on the opposite side to hold the used floss. works great for my system of organization.

Although I miss the old-fashioned "Floss Butterflies" we used to have, these are a reasonable substitute. They are sturdy and the colors are bright and pretty. Great value for the price also, enough to have several projects going at once and staying organized. Would buy again!

These organizers are better than the cardboard ones I'd been using, very sturdy with nice big holes. With 120 holes, one would never run out of spaces. The only problem is not being able to write an ID number on the surface; at least I haven't found anything that will show up. So, that's a problem if you are using similar colors. I should have expected as much, actually, but hope springs eternal..... All in all, however, I'm satisfied with this purchase.

Got these to organize my floss for a couple cross stitch patterns and they are great. Very durable. Pretty colors. I bought some pre-numbered dmc stickers also.

I love doing counted cross-stitch but sorting and organizing the thread can be a major pain. I've used many labeling methods from masking tape to folded up pieces up paper taped or paper-clipped to the thread (a terrible method, btw). I once had a kit come with a sorter like these but it was paper so it constantly sagged or flapped back and forth causing thread to fall out.I love these plastic sorters. They are sturdy and colorful. Since they are plastic, you can write on them with a dry-erase marker and erase them for each project. I've already loaded them up for my next project and am super happy with the results. I definitely recommend these.

This is the perfect way to keep your floss, per project, in order. I don't always finish a project before I start on another.. So with this, I can place the floss per project in a bag with the project until ready to finish

These are super sturdy, super easy to use and priced right.A little bigger than I thought, they work out great. The colors are bright, and there are no sharp or unfinished edges.Great value!
