Great camera. Auto focus is good for the price. It’s not top tier but it’s really good. The video quality is great as well, you can even downscale if you wish. That’s what I do in OBS for streaming if you want the 60fps in 1080p which still looks great. It’s durable, and I’ve dropped it in my cats water bowl when she was on my desk, water got into the lens. But I shook out as much water as I could and let it dry for the next couple of days. Still worked. So yeah, maybe I was lucky, but it’s a fairly great camera.

We do not use this camera as often as our other though the ease of use and installation is top notch. You just plug and go. Using it the few times we did for a twitch stream I found the sound quality on it was descent. Of course nowhere near as good as a mic but for a quick replacement it worked for us. The zoom on it I will admit if there is any possibly not the best. The brightness, well it is not the best at adjusting to lighting we did have to work a bit for the right lighting in the stream with it. I would say it worked best for a zoom call though. So if you would use it for more so work or school zoom calls it is worth the buy.

Great value for the price. The quality and definition of the video was better than I expected - very similar to my other Logitech cameras that cost 3x more. While, not needed, I would recommend downloading the software to make adjustments and zoom when doing video calls.

I love that this cam has great video quality, looks clean compared to some Logitech models and just the right webcam for a starter streamer! I had two Logitech cameras before this and this by far my favorite.

I watched some solid YouTube reviews of this camera (the S800 model) and was sold on what I saw and what they had to say. Having just tried the camera I am stunned by how different my experience is. It's not a bad low end camera. But I struggled for quite a while trying to get it to properly focus on me. After a lot of dabbling I came to realize that it seems to be a just a low resolution camera masquerading as a high res one. I have a 2021 Insta360 gimbaled camera that I used for comparison with Google Meet and OBS. The Insta360 blew away the S800 in terms of resolution and autofocus. I know I had both set for 1080p for Google Meet and 4K for OBS. Honestly I expected the S800 to be better in light of having a large image sensor and the same essential specs for either 30fps @ 4K or 60fps @ 1080p. But it just doesn't.I purchased this for my wife. She likes the quality of the Insta360 but does not want the gimbal for her application. So I'm just ordering a newer Insta360 without the gimbal. It'll cost a bit more than the S800. But hopefully it has the same quality or better as my current Insta360. Which is back on my desk.I want to stress that I don't know why my camera behaves so differently from the experience of the YouTubers who showcased it. But I suspect that there could be a bait and switch going on here to save money. I think in the case of the two YouTubers they were sent the product by the manufacturer. So it's possible they got different hardware. I don't know. Speculation on my part. But it kinda feels that different to me.
